To Those Who Say the Gods Have Decided to Destroy Israel, No they have not . Israel is not a whim. if gods decree to destroy then they must reckon the prays of those children whose houses were shattered. no divines will desire destruction for their own sake. Israel is a nation rising from ashes. its strength is not only in power—it is in persistence.
And persistence, unlike destruction, is holy.Say what you will of its politics, its policies, its imperfections. Critique them, challenge them. That is not destruction—it is moral accountability, and Israel, like all nations, must bear it.
But to say “the gods have chosen to destroy” is not critique. It is despair dressed as prophecy.
