A game based on this cartoon. The "customer" asks for something. The "analyst" designs something inferior to what the customer asked for. "Operations" installs something inferior to what the analyst described. Anyone can submit some version of this process or take the role of the customer and ask for something, allowing others to respond as the designer or as operations with inferior versions of what the previous player described. Similar to "we have [x] at home" or Google vs. Bing memes. Each example is a variation on the same punchline. The rules are not strict, so one can add additional steps to the process.

I'll give several more examples to start. Obviously, these are jokes:

What the customer asked for: Dune (2024)
What the analyst designed: Dune (1984)
What operations installed: The Rise of Skywalker

What the customer asked for: Return of the King
What the analyst designed: The Battle of Five Armies
What operations installed: Rings of Power

What the customer asked for: King David
What the analyst designed: King Solomon
What operations installed: Benjamin Netanyahu

What the customer asked for: John F. Kennedy
What the analyst designed: Bill Clinton
How the business consultant described it: Franklin D. Roosevelt
What operations installed: Joe Biden

What the customer asked for: Karl Marx
What the analyst designed: Vladimir Lenin
How the business consultant described it: John Maynard Keynes
What operations installed: Joseph Stalin

What the customer asked for: Milton Friedman
What the analyst designed: Ayn Rand
How the business consultant described it: Adam Smith
What operations installed: Ben Shapiro
