Description

Me & my opponent will link one emotional song per round. The songs are meant to be sad and sentimental, things of that nature. Whatever song that applies to you as emotional, put it in your round. Have fun. The voters will vote for whoever they think had the more emotional songs.

Never heard that song by Brandy.  Beautiful song.  Well played!

This is one of my favorite songs from Ne-Yo. So much nostalgia, and it gives me good memories of the past (Nothing sad though. Good memories) I just love the song. But for whatever reason, it just makes me sad.

The Tears In Heaven song was really good and sad especially knowing the story behind it. You can feel his everything in that song!

Man, this debate is depressing lol

Wow, that Ne-Yo song was brutal!  R&B has a lot of tear-jerkers.

Another music genre that has tear-jerkers is Country.  I'm not a huge Country music fan, but my pick for my 3rd argument is one of the exceptions.  This song came out in 1994 and I bought the album.  It was my first Country music album.

Watch to the end and try not to cry!

Ah! *Grabs tissue boxes* lmao

I love everything about this song. It's hard to explain, it's just so real and she's just talking about her life, career and family. Her second verse is sad because she talks about her cousin's death.

Wow, that Nicki Minaj song!  If I had known about that song I may have picked it myself.

There appears to be a generation gap in our songs.   And to keep with the generation gap going my next song is from a group called Bread.

You could pick anything from Bread and it would make you cry, they wrote that kind of music.  But I found this song tug at my heartstrings the most.  It's about a girl named Aubrey, a shy boy, and unrequited love.  I was that boy.

Wow I haven't heard of Bread before but that was a beautiful song and it was soothing.

My last song is none other than Aaliyah - Rock The Boat

Not only is this song amazing but the reminder of it just leaves you broken. It's her last music video/song before her unfortunate death along with her entourage in a plane crash. R.I.P Queen Aaliyah.

Thanks for the debate!

That's a sad story behind the Queen Aaliyah song.

The song for my final argument...

Thanks to my opponent for an excellent debate!
