Not necessarily, I merely have to price it and present in such a way that lets your demand for it meet the lack of supply for it at a happy equilibrium.

This debate is about 'ability' so let's discuss what 'able' means.

I am indeed able to sell you something that you don't need, on a website designed for such transactions, I'd be happy to do it and may be doing it right now under a different Amazon or Ebay username that you're purchasing.

What you are demanding is proof that I am actually doing it successfully, not proof that I have the ability to in a hypothetical sense.

I am able to present a product on such a platform to you. I am able to set the price and you may well accept it.

It is all within what I am able to do, you cannot prove otherwise.

One such product could be a nice lingerie set for your wife. Surprise her, go out there and buy it, just know that it's possible for me to have been the one selling it and that I have said ability and no need to prove it to you.

You want a free win where you reject anything I offer or alternatively argue that you need it, I am telling you that I am able to sell it to you but inside of this debate you'd not only reject it but such purchases and sales are not allowed on this website. We must interact elsewhere with our usernames or real life identities for me to sell you it and then the ability will inevitably be proven.

Everything you said, you didn't come up with an actual product.

You went over theory and all this.

Are you familiar with sales jobs where in the interview the interviewer says "here , try to sell me this pen".

That's what I'm waiting on from you.

It doesn't have to be a pen of course but actually work a product into a sales pitch .

See good salesmen can argue a person into buying anything.

Like for instance with life insurance, a sales person would use perhaps features of the policy to rebut rejection.

Just like I brought up to you about your prices . That could be used in your argumentation.

In your mind you may be just thinking that you'll argue logical rules but you have the wrong idea .

You were to actually pitch and sell me on something.

You can assume that I would just reject any offer you would make.

That would just show how poor your selling skills are.

The product is lingerie for your wife or some equivalent that you want but don't need. The benefits are all subjective and unique to you and the product.

Don't take these challenges knowing you're planning not to sell anything.

I stated that I know of websites like eBay, Amazon etc so even if we stay totally online, I can sell you the product. As for irl it's both more and less viable. It's more viable in the sense that irl lets the person sway you and win you over even better but less viable as we are strangers who may not live in the same area.

I argue that you, inside of this debate, will resist anything I'd try to pseudo-sell to you. It's not legally tenable to sell you a product on this website anyway, it violates terms that we agree to as users and this website is not a liscened online sales vendor. Nevertheless, you and I could be buy and seller on another website and that is your downfall.

I know where to sell you the product, I have sufficient power, resources and skill to take an image of the product, put it on a website like eBay and sell it. I can do that or know someone who could/would do it on my behalf with me writing the description and doing the image so it's still me having the 'abililty' to sell.

I can do it all. I am able to. You can buy it from me, ergo you are able to buy a product that I am selling which means I am able to sell you it.

It needn't be a product you are in need of and only a product that you want.

If I prove that you need it, I defeat the idea that I am selling you something that you don't need.

You can want it for a variety of reasons.

Maybe you find it sexy, maybe it makes your wife feel great.
