I'll be keeping this short until Pro decides to show up.

Argument I. Diet

While McDonald's and fast-food in general are notorious for being unhealthy compared to other food options, they are within compliance with FDA regulations requiring that nutrition information for all menu items are available by demand of the customer. This means that they cannot lie about their cholesterol, sugar, or sodium levels, some of the main culprits of fast-food's effects on your health. Anyone who chooses to buy food from a McDonald's is doing so under the assumption that they are capable of evaluating their own health, or short of that, consulting their physician. In moderation, the risks of McDonald's is low, and some menu options such as the salad are even healthy.

Argument II. Cancer

In the short description Pro claims that McDonald's causes cancer. Presumably he actually means that their food causes cancer, though if he wishes to clarify on the matter I am open to other claims. While red meat such as beef common to McDonald's burger are associated with cancer risk, doctors only recommend moderation, not cutting it out from your diet altogether. Besides, McDonald's is far from the only place one can find red meat. It can be purchased at the majority of restaurants and grocery stores around the world, so the banning of McDonald's would only shift people to other sources of red meat.

Argument III. Autonomy

One of my core philosophical beliefs is that informed adults should be able to make their own decisions, rather than being forced to do things. I can elaborate on this if Pro comes back, otherwise I will save my time.

To have a higher chance to win, it is important not only to provide more convincing arguments, but also to specify the information sources, to demonstrate respectful attitude to the opponent and to write the text with a minimum amount of grammatical mistakes.
