Situation Overview:

In 2019, Microsoft made a $1 billion deal with OpenAI which gave Microsoft access to OpenAI's intellectual property. In return, OpenAI was given access to Microsoft Azure and was able to expand rapidly. Then, on November 30, 2022, OpenAI released the chatbot Chat GPT (Generative Predictive Text) which was widely admired by the general public and experts alike. So, on February 7th, Microsoft announced plans to implement ChatGPT into it's browser Bing.

With this, an internal "Code Red" was alarmed in Google's headquarters. and shortly after they released their rival chatbot, Bard.

If there is anything a potential acceptor might want to add, I would be perfectly open to that.

Good Luck!

The meaning is clear and that mistake won't impact the debate.

-->
@K_Michael

I remembered ChatGPT used predictive text so I assumed that was what GPT stands for.

-->
@K_Michael

Whoops. Well, the meaning is pretty clear.

@ComputerNerd

"OpenAI released the chatbot Chat GPT (Generative Predictive Text)"

That's not what GPT stands for, it's Generative Pre-trained Transformer.
