Description

Disclaimer : Regardless of the setup for voting win or lose, The aim of this interaction, Is for those that view it, Learn and or take away anything that will amount to any constructive value ultimately. So that counts as anything that'll cause one to reconsider an idea, Understand a subject better, Help build a greater wealth of knowledge getting closer to truth. When either of us has accomplished that with any individual here, That's who the victor of the debate becomes.

The burden of proof is on both sides. Pro must prove with Bible chapter and verse(s) that God created water, that God created darkness. The con side must prove with Bible book , chapter and verse(s) that God did not create water and darkness.

Both sides must be able to show and explain from the scripture their case. I make the statement "God created water and darkness" and I shall prove my statement with Bible and likewise to the opposing position.

The first round is ONLY allowed for the Pro side to explain from ONLY the scripture that God created water and darkness.

The first round is ONLY allowed for the con side to explain ONLY from the scripture that God did not create water and darkness. NO rebuttals or counter points are allowed IN THE FIRST ROUND.

These FIRST TWO TURNS only serve as opening statements.

The second round are for QUESTIONS ONLY. Just questions only from BOTH sides to the other . The Pro side will ask the other side questions regarding the scriptures and the case they're bringing . The con side can ONLY ask questions in the SECOND round like cross examination to expose flaws, inconsistencies regarding the first round statements. PLEASE DO NOT ADD SIDE REBUTTALS, COUNTER POINTS AND CONCLUSIONS. JUST STRICTLY QUESTIONS.

The third round will ONLY contain answers for the questions from the second round. PLEASE DO NOT ADD SIDE REBUTTALS, COUNTER POINTS AND CONCLUSIONS. JUST STRICTLY ANSWERS.

The 4TH round will summarize with conclusions from each side with any applicable feedback overall from everything discussed.

Any questions on the setup, the topic, please leave a comment. Do not accept this challenge if you cannot stomach the debate structure. It's ok if you slip up by mistake but don't deliberate come in somebody's arena and rearrange things like you would in somebody's house.

@Teresay

this is a truism debate. teresay would have to kritik.
you could use semantic kritiking.

Then I voluntarily go on in attempt to edify. I try not to give up on the lost.

For those asking about "losses" and "wins", below is what your so called "losses" and "wins" mean to me.

See , who you say wins a debate, loses is totally subjective. It doesn't dictate the truth I actually present. Just because I state the fact of the sky being blue while being in a pool of liars that say it isn't, doesn't mean it isn't.
See that would be the ad populum fallacy.

Mall, this is in no way meant to be flippant: how come you have lost so many debates? How come you kept on driving through the losses to debate more?

So we have some folks that agree with my topic statement. Yet, someone took the challenge from the debate session. So apparently we have those that think this statement is false or can argue as if it were.

12 more days, nobody accepts, it'll prove in support of my position and all the other debates of the same topic as well. The votes ought to be consistent with that.

YEEEEEEESSSSS, He DIIIIIIIIIIIIIDuuuuuh

So the whole debate is going to be based on the first few verses of Genesis, all of which seem incredibly ambiguous on the subject?
