^ THE ONLY RULE is that neither user is allowed to use a song the the opponent used in this particular debate in the actual debate (so not comments section or something).

Vote for whose songs you liked overall. You are absolutely flexible and free in your scoring method. Yes, this opens to troll voting but we must hope the site is noble enough.

@Mharman

Why did you want me to get in here?

On second thought, it might be more appropriate to award Round 5 to neither party. But Mharman would still be the winner.

Round 5: Mharman. Didn't particularly like either, but Mharman's was slightly more interesting. I can see RM was trying to go with something beautiful, but in my opinion he could've done a lot better than he did. For example, a well-done electronic version of something of the Celtic music genre (that is, an electronic version which does not detract from the beauty of such). Back on DDO it was I think Mishapqueen who once posted a link to something of that nature, and it was a delight to listen to.

In any case, I'd clearly peg Mharman as the winner of this debate. Not sure whether I'm actually going to cast a vote, as it's possible that the Mods wouldn't be satisfied with the stated criteria behind my decision.

@RationalMadman

You are 100℅ entitled to your opinion on the matter. However, this debate is largely a matter of personal preferences, and as a potential voter I'm telling what I think.

-->
@Swagnarok

I don't really think you are correct on your judgements.

Round 4: Mharman. RM's piece had some good lyrics, but Mharman's submission for this round was dope. "Good", even. If the two of you picked more stuff like that, I'd be more enthused about judging these kinds of debates.

Round 3: Narrow win for Mharman, because I like that song and the screen was showing something other than a gross chick with her tongue sticking out, though your rendition of the piece wasn't the best by any stretch of the imagination.

Round 2: Hated them both. Tie.

Round 1: Mharman.

Plz vote.

Just the one song, and it's a very subjective stylistic thing. One singer was doing a flat low toned mumble I could rarely understand.

-->
@Barney

Why did my songs irritate you so much?

-->
@Barney

on DDO this exact side switching can happen. Admittedly there the name alters not just the colour.

-->
@RationalMadman

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. Leftover habit from DDO.

-->
@Barney

I think you are referring to me as Pro?

R1 to pro.
R2 to con (I did not care for the vocals in pro's choice).
R3 to con (Christmas cats put it over).
R4 tied.
R5 to con (liked the dark feel of that choice a little more).

However, not casting a vote as I don't view this as a debate per se...

@Mharman

Make sure to ping me again later. I want to listen to the songs but won't be available until tonight or tomorrow.
