I don't really know what to say honestly, I can say that I stand with the pantheism view of religion because it's philosophical and scientifically near to the universal definition of religion and because the nature and so the human as species can be the gods(and we can actually see what being the god of the world is leading us to) but I think it should be meant as a inspiring sentence because, as Nietzsche said(not directly connected to Spinoza's pantheism) in this way we can actually respect our will power and be spiritually completed and not following the rules of a "magician" written in a book from 2000 years ago. That's my point of view I'm sorry that you hadn't been able to express yourself.
