Description

English is seldom mocked by many agenda driven persons to gain votes by fooling people in The name of nationalism. They use arguments like Hindi is native to India. Using English we are bowing to The West. Hindi is better(citing old fairy tales Vedas pedas tedas). Such propaganda needs to be stopped because English is the Future. If someone can prove to me that Hindi is better, it's open challenge to whole India

Round 1

English is the International language. English unites the world. English unites India(South and North). Jobs require English, Wedding card have English. The language we are having a debate is English. The language common to you and me is English. The parliament has English, the court has English. English has dug its way to #1 language of the world for a reason. It keeps improving and changing with time. It adopts good vocab from other languages too.
On the other hand Hindi
Hindi is a language spoken only in the Northern belt of India, not used for professional reasons. Is literally watered down Sanskrit and Urdu, and still keeps on getting diluted. It has lost its vocab with time, leave alone adding. People nowadays can't even talk completely in Hindi, the language being spoken by people nowadays isn't even Hindi, it's Hinglish. It's getting mixed with English more and more every day. A language which originated from a language which is dead(Sanskrit) and proceeds towards its end as it gets more and more diluted and added with English, can't be asserted as better than English. People who say Hindi is better are also using the English alphabet because using The Hindi Alphabet is very hard and time taking. The Hindi Alphabet is irrelevant to modern Computers and Devices.

Just a personal note,
How a 19 year old girl, born in America, borrowing her brother's phone, speaking English, is going to prove that Hindi is better or Even Hindi is equivalent to English, to a boy in India who grew up learning English and Hindi simultaneously and knows flaws of both of the Languages and Trends in India

Kid calm down...

First off, Just because English is widely spoken doesnt not make it better at all. English is only popular due to historical Colonization not because its better. Popularity is not the same as values kid.

1. Idenity, Culture and Depth
Hindi has over thousands of year of different cultures, literature and history, English is a global spoken language but Hindi connects over 600 million native speakers to their roots, traditions and all together their Idenity. Saying Hindi is just "Watered down Sanskrit" is ignoring its history and values. And if you do your research English is just a mix of different languages such as German, French and Latin and yet you dont see me calling English "Diluted."

2. Expressiveness
Hindi has a very rich poetic structure that can allow people to express them selves thats something English can't match. For example words like, jugaad  (creative fix) Mehfil (Gathering) or rasa (essence). These words have no direct English equivalent.

3. Bilingual
Saying "English unites India" is not true. India is one of the most Multilingual countries in the whole world. Most of them Speak both Hindi and English it gives them professional advantages and more. Being Bilingual is proven to improve tons of things like Improve memory, problem solving and adaptability so Hindi speakers who also speak English always have Advantage over only English speakers

4. Technology and Relevancey
Your claim that Hindi scripts are "Irrelevant to Computers" is so outdated. Unicode supports supporting easyly. And millions of apps, devices and websites operate in the Hindi language Daily. Also Voice ai's, Keyboards, and lots of other stuff are increasingly integrated into Hindi proving how modern and adaptable the language really is.

5. English has issues
If your criticizing Hindi for mixing with English (Hinglish) then English should be criticized for constantly stealing words from other languages if we are being fair. For Example, Pizza from Italians, Cafe from the French and they also stole emoji from the Japanese. The more a Language exist the more it evolves. Adaptability is a strength not a weakness pal.

And finally to address this
"How a 19 year old girl, born in America, borrowing her brother's phone, speaking English, is going to prove that Hindi is better or Even Hindi is equivalent to English, to a boy in India who grew up learning English and Hindi simultaneously and knows flaws of both of the Languages and Trends in India?"

First off my personal life has nothing to do with this debate little boy. I was not born in America, I'm not 19 anymore, I'm not borrowing my brother phone and yea I speak English and so do you that doesn't mean anything towards a debate you're just criticizing my person life for no reason but to anger me. Lets say I assume stuff and criticize you.

How is an India boy, using a Sheep pfp who's most impressive Educational feat going to Highschool going to prove that English is a better Language than Hindi? To a grown women who is fluent in 5 languages ????

English is Popular because of Colonization
Yeah that's true, but what matters only is that it is popular. Colonization has to do nothing. English has crafted its way to #1 Language, in terms of popularity and it's an indispensable international language.
Talking about values, 2 unknown language and given one is international language then by common deduction techniques everyone will chose the international language as the better one, obviously.
Identity Culture and Depth
Hindi connects people, indeed. How many, all of Northern belt. Does Hindi unite India? Big No! Why? Southern people speak other languages and North eastern people speak other languages. Hindi speakers are only in The Hindi Belt. They account for less than 50 percent of the total Indian land and population. Meanwhile English gave us the United India, spoken by South, North and East, it's the only common language all over India. The name Hindi comes from The name Hindi, given by a mughal emperor who called us Hindo, a name which was supposed to look down on Indians. Even talking about the the Hindi Belt, There were many languages, Awadh,Braj, etc. To which people share their roots with. Hindi is just a new language not something thousand years old. Which was created after Sanskrit, Urdu, Awadh, etc were WATERED DOWN for ages. A simple language with a lot of Dialects, to which little people associate their roots with. Preety much like French of 18th CE, a cheaper version.
English
English isn't something diluted, instead it gets more depth every time something is added to it. Latin had depths too, But English maintains a constant reputation and standard. For a much longer time then Hindi. When you study Hindi and Sanskrit together, you get to know that Hindi is an imperfect mimick of Sanskrit. Like Sentence formation, vocab, grammar, all are limited in Hindi. It's not the same as English.
EXPRESSIVENESS
You did me a favour here, thanks. Jugaad is an Urdu word, which was later added to Hindi Dictionary. Mehfil is a complete Urdu word, not a single Hindi speaker uses it. You search it on internet and it will start showing Urdu Resturants. Rasa, a Sanskrit word, not a  Hindi one. I would thank you for this again. See, you yourself gave an Example of why Hindi is watered down Sanskrit. This word is dead, completely dead in Hindi. Hindi too has this problem, lacking some vocab other languages have. So here too the point goes to English.
Technology
Doesn't even encounter my former points. Unicode? Try the Hindi or Japanese style. Not all are the same. Keyboard? Send me the link let me buy one. You don't even know Hindi Alphabet, how can you say such a point? Hindi Alphabet are not suitable for technology and Hindi speakers preety much know this. जुगाड़ Writing this is Hard using Keyboard and Instead writing Jugaad is easy. Period. Point goes to English. AI. Try using chatgpt in Hindi, if it doesn't blunder in grammar every sentence.
English has Issues
I have addressed it several times, I will repeat myself. English evolves, not dilutes. Adds more Vocabulary to itself. Hindi adds merely 20 words each year. That too none is aware of. Even Hindi textbooks are being diluted by removing complex grammatical topics from the syllabus. An Average Indian studies basic Hindi till 10th grade and studies English till 12th grade for a reason.
And finally a personal note
Stop being a bitch you said me in the comments? How stupid is it? I called you unapt for you are literally standing for a language, culture and country You can't locate on the map, know nothing about, coming up with arguments straight from thin air. Hindi unites India, Hindi is technology relevant, AI in Hindi, Hindi Keyboard? Ayo? I targeted your knowledge, and said nothing personal and here you are straight up abusing me. No doubt you are mentioning Jugaad, mehfil and rias as Hindi words.

See what happens when you pick a topic you know nothing about, I have seen your profile, you are picking a lot of debates lately while giving fragile AI assisted figures to support your stance. Truly Pathetic. And here you were lecturing me to stop being a bitch or crying the comments. Hypocritical, unprofessional and immature behaviour !
