Description

The Bible is a collection of Hebrew and Greek texts which has long served as the foundation of the Christian faith, and of the Jewish faith if you exclude the New Testament. While most Christians nowadays don't take the Bible literally, there is a small percentage that still do, especially in the United States. It is an ancient text which completely contradicts what we now know about biology, physics, astronomy, geography, archaeology, and history. I will be arguing that many of the book's events and stories are in direct contradiction with established facts, and will be making use of many examples that I'd consider factually inaccurate. My opponent will have to defend that the entire Bible is literally true, in whatever way he or she chooses.
