“A Vanity Fair interview with Donald Trump’s late first wife Ivana Trump has resurfaced in which she alleges that her former spouse used to keep a book of Adolf Hitler’s speeches in his bedside cabinet”
Trump has been a big fan of Hitler for most of his life

FDR was also a fan of Mussolini, so much so that he pioneered the institutional regulation of all industries and directed economic markets to be centrally planned in DC. A practice that continues today in the form of corporate subsidies and regulations barring entry into markets.
Hitler put a lot of effort in speeches to seduce masses.
Trump does the same. He wants power.

FDR was basically Hitler without all the racism.

I think the topic is Trump.
FDR was also a fan of Mussolini,
That’s a lie. You lie all the time. Roosevelt has never expressed admiration for the fascist dictator
-->
@Best.Korea
I don't think Trump wants as much state control of the economy as FDR or any other Democrat.
Unlike FDR, the only thing he might have in common ideologically with Hitler is racism maybe. Certainly not a centrally planned economy managed by the swamp.

What a moron you are.
Roosevelt himself called Mussolini “admirable” and professed that he was “deeply impressed by what he has accomplished.” The admiration was mutual. In a laudatory review of Roosevelt’s 1933 book Looking Forward, Mussolini wrote, “Reminiscent of Fascism is the principle that the state no longer leaves the economy to its own devices.… Without question, the mood accompanying this sea change resembles that of Fascism.” The chief Nazi newspaper, Volkischer Beobachter, repeatedly praised “Roosevelt’s adoption of National Socialist strains of thought in his economic and social policies” and “the development toward an authoritarian state” based on the “demand that collective good be put before individual self‐interest.”

Hitler was a lot smarter than Trump
Thats why Trump is learning from him.

@Best.Korea
Trump could learn a lot about fascist central planning of an economy from FDR.
Fascism is a system of government led by a dictator who typically rules by forcefully and often violently suppressing opposition and criticism, controlling all industry and commerce, and promoting nationalism and often racism.
-->
@FLRW
Today's Ultra-fascist promotes globalism instead of nationalism That way, the entire globe's commerce can be centrally planned in Brussels.

Why do you repeat that?
You know that its not funny twice.

Why Brussels?
Yes, the fascists are know for Social Security, Medicare, and unemployment insurance. Of course.
Yes, they actually are known for that. Fascism is usually led by a populist and you need some sort of carrot. Hitler also supported similar economic interventionism as FDR.
You Americans are lucky the populists that are about to toss the elite out of power are either pragmatists or some sort of libertarian paleo conservative hybrid.
