Why did the US invade Afghanistan?

The United States went to Afghanistan in 2001 to wage a necessary war of self-defense. On September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda terrorists attacked our country. They were able to plan and execute such a horrific attack because their Taliban hosts had given them safe haven in Afghanistan.
- & why did it invade & bomb the other 30 countries & conduct political assassinations & regime changes in another 90? – I'm not even gunna qualify this with an argument. Everything is accessible for he who wishes to know. You keep believing the childish nonsense.
The U.S. were after Al Qaeda and not the Taliban because Al Qaeda attacked America on 9/11 led by Osama Bin . Trump even negotiated a withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan with the Taliban.

- The US created al-Qaeda, literally, & they been funding them since. Some of that funding came from USAID, as recently exposed. Ben Selman himself admits to promoting them per US request. – Al-Qaeda & co does US bidding in the region. They fight her enemies, create instability across the region, & play the perfect role for US crimes justification, always at impeccable timing.

Trump even negotiated a withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan with the Taliban.
- Retreat*.

In 1988, Osama bin Laden established Al Qaeda from a network of Arab and other foreign veterans of the U.S.- backed Afghan insurgency against the Soviet Union, with the aim of supporting Islamist causes in conflicts around the world.

- The story goes a little deeper than that...

Osama Bin Laden then turned on America.
Opposed to the United States' foreign policy in the Middle East, Bin Laden declared war on the U.S. in 1996 and advocated attacks targeting US assets in various countries, and supervised the execution of the September 11 attacks inside the U.S. in 2001.

Approved by American president Barack Obama and involving two dozen Navy SEALs in two Black Hawks, Operation Neptune Spear was launched from about 120 miles (190 km) away, near the Afghan city of Jalalabad. The raid took 40 minutes, and bin Laden was killed shortly before 1:00 a.m.

For the sake of it,  I know this debate is being more about Islam etc, but I can't let the Other Bad sides win, Taoism is not Good, Stop Calling it a "Beautiful" thing just like that.

not exactly that "you shouldn't have said that", but basically that  Taoism isn't any "beautiful philosophy" either (This isn't very related to the topic of this debate actually but because someone brought Taoism up sooo)
