Though it is thought that there will be an overall decrease in population growth, as social attitudes in rapidly developing countries changes.

Other, evolutionary or environmental factors might also add to a long term decline in species fertility.

The world population has actually increased to over 8 billion. But several western countries and Asian countries are seeing an aging population.

Yes, I'm aware of current trends.

I was loosely quoting longer term predictions.

But it still stands that the more people we keep alive for longer coupled with changing attitudes towards procreation, will inevitably create a proportionately older demographic.

Besides abortion, wars also reduce the population of countries.

Well, death in general will reduce population...This is a truism.

As birth will increase population

Though in terms of the human species, wars and abortion currently do not impact upon population growth.

Which would suggest that currently in terms of species success,  procreation and all factors that affect longevity are demographically more significant than abortion and war.

The two most populated countries China and India have not been in any major war for decades and resulted in the 2 highest populations in the world.

It's estimated that up to 80 million people died as a result of WW2.

It is also estimated that up to 80 million people died as a result of Moa Zedong.

And the Indian sub-continent has certainly had it's fair share of conflicts, notably  WW2 and the partition era.

Though I think that it's fair to say, that although always notable, wars since WW2 involving Western nations, have not been as catastrophic in terms of population depletion.

I would therefore suggest that the distinction in population growth between Indo-China and the West, has more to do with social ideology and very little to do with conflict.

You forget China and India were leading the world population growth after WW2. When Europe and America were declining.

A better man than I. Haven't done a pull up in 30 years. I do however work in the marble and granite industry and  lift over 100 pounds every day multiple times a day.  My work keeps me fit, I have weighed between 160 and 170 pounds for 40 years. I hit 175 a couple of times.  I quit eating lunch for a week when that happens and the 5 pounds disappears.

With fertility this low, population growth will give way to population decline and population aging will be rapid. The median age of the Southern European population, for example, is projected to reach 50 years of age by 2040 as compared to 41 in 2010 and 27 in 1950 (1).

Working out legs is a huge W, you believe it or not. Even though anybody hardly notices muscular legs, but I do. Please workout your legs so I can see thy plumpest cheeks, my honorable sir. I want to see the thiccness of your legs, and your huge cake behind you

Okay, my new work out is

3x dips
3x squats
3x weight lifting

Sure, I might switch dips for push ups and plank sometimes.

Stone cutting, very bad for the lungs.

Hope you use appropriate dust filtering apparatus.

And if one does something regularly, one will inevitably get more proficient.

Such as pulling up.

Or eating 20 burgers and fries per day. (In between meals)

So exercising legs will inevitably make one more proficient at moving in a bipedal fashion.

Whereas cellulitis, ulcers and surgical stockings are not a sexy look.

No, I don't. 25 years and counting. I run a bridge saw, water everywhere, no dust. But with that said the fabricators 50 feet away are angle grinding up a dust storm.

Take care.

Silica is found in both marble and granite.

Silicosis is a serious disease, associated with stone working.

I am sure he knows that after working for 25 years in that field.
