@Girraficus
Currently, only five countries are recognized as officially communist states—China, Cuba, Laos, North Korea, and Vietnam—

All States are more or less oppressively tyrannical.

Communism was a philosophical pipe dream of the bourgeoisie.

So called communism has a regular tendency to be more oppressively tyrannical.

Asia is a big place, though tyrannical is tyrannical I suppose...It's the level and style of oppression and required conformity that  is variable....And I think it's fair to say that  Asia probably beats Europe in that respect.

Yes, Pearl Harbour was  situated in the Outer Hebrides and the Japanese were actually Icelandic.

Which is why the Americans who were actually Irish dropped atomic bombs on Reykjavik and Akureyri.

The Canadians were actually  French  and the Anzacs came from The Netherlands.

Not forgetting that Rommel's North Africa campaign actually took place in Spain...Swarthy Spaniards and North Africans are easily confused.

Oops...Almost forgot that both India and Burma (Myanmar) are actually Balkan States.

And then there is the Middle East AKA Romania and Bulgaria.

And for the purposes of clarity Turkey is wholly within the Greek Empire...But for goodness sake don't tell the Turks.

You need to work on your geography of Europe before you get to the history of the two world wars.

Spanish Flu didn't help.

Nonetheless,  if we draw lines on a map we can make statistical comparisons.

And a lot of folk migrated to the Americas, Israel,  Australia, New Zealand, and Soviet Gulags.

Though I don't think that the latter was optional.

Yes, such were periods of human endeavour.

Such are in fact.

It is estimated that since WW2 global conflicts have taken 570million lives.

It's an ongoing theme of human endeavour.
