Welcome, users.
The first TRT tournament has concluded 2 years ago without an established winner. I am here to announce that The Round Table Tournaments have officially returned and we now begin the second series of this new chapter.
As tournament themes and tropes have been overdone, today we do something new. The likes of which DART has never seen before.
Rather than this competition being based on debates. The roles have now reversed.
This tournament will be based on competition through voting. Your votes will be judged on the following criteria.:
- Length.
- Detail. (Information from your analysis to prove that you read the debate.)
- Justification. (Your explanation for why you voted for a particular contender, and how you scored points.)
Now. There are five slots available. If you wish to enter, type /in:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
There will be a total of four rounds. For each round, all voters must only vote on three debates at a time, and all voters will be assigned to the same three debates. If a voter fails to vote on a debate after the voting period has concluded that voter may fall behind on a few points.
If you are registering as a voter, you are encouraged to write suggestions for debate resolutions you want to see debated
Include as much detail for the rules and bop as you can. (Optional, not required.)
If your resolution is approved, it shall become 1 of the 3 debates for Round #1.
Users who debate the resolution will be chosen randomly, but they are required to put (TRT) in the title of the debate for clarification. The voting period for debates will have a max time of two weeks. The max time for arguments is 3 days.
Debates will be rated.
(Anyone who participates in this tournament cannot participate as a debater.)
