Lying is not your forte.
I would deny that I'm lying, but your mind isn't being changed, so there is no point in continuing this point. It's like a priest and an Iman arguing over religion with one side trying to convert the other. As I've learned aging, older people are less willing to change their minds on any sort of opinion (they become more conservative in the literal sense where they conserve their own opinions more often). Exceptions exist, but those exceptions decrease as time goes on (except for a new issue like annexing Canada). Old people on an established issue (ex: abortion, transgenderism) are conservative, but not necessarily republican on these issues (their views aren't changing). Young people aren't like that.
