Back in my day, it was uncommon for girls to want to date older males.

Nor would boys want to date older women.

Boys and girls generally dated each other.

And older men and women tended to date people of a similar age.


If you are 30, I doubt that girls would want to date you.

But I doubt that you are anywhere near 30.

Nor would boys want to date older women
Thats because men and women past 40 are less attractive. A girl is generally more attractive at 20 than at 40. Same goes for man. People past 40 are generally not considered attractive by those who are 20 or 30 age. Older people have less energy and higher rates of dementia.

There are strange young men who lust after 70 year old women. But that is disgusting. Most normal men want 20 year old women. Same works with women. Women generally dont want old men unless its for money or they cant get anything better right now. Really, give a choice between 20 year old and 60 year old, and who would choose a 60 year old? Thats how it works.

A big thing is the moderation team has mellowed out with time. I disagree with a lot of statements people make, but that doesn't mean they all need to be banned.

For one thing, every time we can someone (save for the bots), justifying it takes a lot of work. This isn't a fault in the system, but a feature. Last week I suggested banning someone because some of their behavior pissed me off, but another moderator started asking the logical questions about how long said behavior had been going on... That let me rethink it, and I was honestly in the wrong to jump to suggesting a ban. Sure, what they were doing to another member was childish, but it was such a short timespan that it was premature to consider banning them.
