Claiming from the only town roles is more likely to get cced in my opinion as there are fewer of them. I’m still stuck on he is a joat but he is a mafia sided joat.

it depends on if bullish actually randomized or not. If the roles selected were actually randomized like he said it is possible for a miller to exist without a cop.

What is your justiifcation
The justification references the three engines the jet has, it’s being huge, and gives a couple of different likely focuses of its functionality. It specifies range and stealth, which makes sense given my other roles.

JOAT is my first problem. Idk what mod put a commuter w a JOAT, much less with a manipulative role. First impression is that is looks like a slap-dash fake claim.
It certainly isn’t a first for me to see a manipulative role on town, though I’ll admit the Commuter is an odd inclusion. As scum, I avoid fake claiming a JOAT especially this early when my roles can be easily CC’d. I’ll claim my other two roles if needed, as I do think town can get some value off of one in particular, though I’d prefer to claim them after I get to use at least one.

You are making it out like he could fake claim anything and have it be better than JOAT. I am disagreeing so hard with this. I’m agreeing it’s his role. Why risk a CC when you could claim your actual character and role for a lot of reasons. No one will know the theme so the character won’t appear scummy and JOAT can’t be dual sided so seeming a little scummy in a role claim is better than risking a cc

Can you confirm if my above statement is true? Only affiliation and distribution was randomized and you did in fact balance the game.
I’m with my wife at the stables this morning before heading back to work, so I can’t type up reads as I normally do until later.
For now, I’ll just say that I think it’s very likely Mikal is town (I do think he would either have torpedoed himself or been swapped out if he rolled scum, but his aggressiveness this game and the information he’s strongly suggested he has seem as overtly town as I’ve ever seen from him), which makes me also want to townread Moozer based on some PM issue that has been mentioned.
Banana strongly implying F-16 makes it pretty likely she’s town assuming no weird theme split.
I also townread WyIted, mainly because of the Miller claim. I modded a game recently where he and Supa went with fake claiming Miller and it bit them hard, so he’d have to be pretty secure in that choice for him to try it again.
I’ll give more detailed thoughts on others when I have a computer to use.

Because JOAT is and always will be a scummy claim. Whiteflame knows this, and Whiteflame also happens to be a very good scum player capable of making phenomenal fake
Claims. In this game he’s practically handed a list with several fake claim options and he has an extremely high possibility of claiming many of them with very low probability of getting CCed, yet he goes for one of the roles that is almost guaranteed to be unanimously scum read? Why?
Also he didn’t have to role claim in general. The pressure on him was for character claim, the fact that he in good faith full claimed looks even better for him. As mafia he just bides his time and full claims after he’s narrowed down more claims and reduced the risk of CC more. The move he made just doesn’t make sense from a scum Whiteflame perspective unless he is specifically banking on the wifom argument I’m making now to save him, and that’s a lot of risk to hedge his game on for no reason. Whiteflame isn’t beyond taking risks, but I don’t think he takes dumb risks that have a high probability of failure when he could easily just play this a million better ways.

I def was pushing for him to role claim. It’s not that he’s not capable of fake claiming. We remember him different and I remember him slipping a lot with fake claims but I’ll take your word he is better.
I’m saying comparatively there is no risk to claiming his actual character and actual role. I just don’t think it’s town. Let’s say he could pull a fake claim out of his ass and have it go well and not beg cced. Sure he’s capable but he’s also typing himself to something in a role madness games where likely all if not most people have a role. If he fake claims a role, large chance it can be validated by another existing role in the game and if he’s caught lying he’s fucked. It makes perfect sense to me to appear slightly scummy saying JOAT and actually claiming your real character and role instead of risking a cc or someone catching you in a lie because of all the roles that are in the game. I don’t think there is a reason for him to fake claim.

If there were a bigger pool of players or less available roles to claim maybe, but the role pool is too big and there’s only a one in 7 chance he can screw up a fake claim out of like 30+ options. The risk of getting CCed really isn’t that high here
Less about the cc and more about getting caught in the follow through. Role madness has lots of fucking roles that are all usually pretty strong. So there are likely ways to validate him.
