We disagree on the last part.
There is 1 right religion (well 2, Judaism sort of is and sort of isn't).
He also cannot change alone. It does not work like that and self help stuff is actually somewhat Satanic as much as it means well and is why I have not suddenly gone full right wing.
We need to be weak, to accept we are helpless. Bit by bit like a tide being brought to shore the Holy Spirit shall carry you and Father controls the weather while Jesus is a light house or sudden life raft showing up etc. He is also the way to swim where Hoky Spirit is the fuel to the spriit and body in this analogy. Father controls the tide.
Satan is not the cramps, he is the urge to give up while feeling them creep in, magnifying their agony and minimising vision of correct options.
This is not pure metaphor. The sea swimming part is.
It is real and takes nonstop battling the innate gravitation we seem to have to Satan.
You play it as a logic game. You think any change works if it seems for the better. Wrong. Better to lose some or most of the gym gains and gain religion than vice versa. You get the concept?
