Calvinists believe in double predestination, whereas Catholics believe in predestination. St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine wrote about it. There is nuance and distinction.

It seems you have decided, rather arbitrarily, who God does and does not predestine, after denying (or not knowing) that he does indeed predestine.
