Does it matter if there exist a "God"?

I'm refering to the typical concept of "God" that religions preach. I mean, a God that is somewhere watching over us, listening to the praying of the people but doing nothing about it, seemingly. A "God" that is waiting for the end of the times to reward their slaves... I mean, people who obey him, and also to punish mercilessly the people who didn’t put on their knees and obey him word by word. Haha. 

Jokes aside and in all seriousness. Is it worth the endless debates between atheists and religious people? What religious people get if atheists accept that there is a God? Are they getting a salary increase if they do so?

To me this is pure fkn ego, either from atheists or religious people competing to convince others about their position. Although, I've got to admit religious people are more fkn obnoxious because I've never met an atheist trying to convince me there is no God.

What do you think, dear atheist? Have you ever thought about what it would happen if you accept that God exists? I tell you what would happen. Nothing. It's worthless. So, next time a religious guy tells you that there is a God, just reply "yes, I agree" and turn back to your duties. Be happy.

Sound advice but not as much fun as  a bit of banter trading.

It's rather like advising  the fecund to not bother about sex.


Nonetheless, if there is a GOD I'm guessing that it is not as stupid as theists make it out to be.

And takes little interest in the machinations of human society.

Perhaps smiling occasionally when it gets the time to see us do our stuff.

And when we die, it doesn't notice the difference.

Eh, I think 'sometimes it can be ego, by people who say they are Christian or say they are Atheist,

Other times, I think they 'value what they see as the 'truth,
Or what they see as lives worth living,
Lifestyles that are good for humans,
And they want to 'help other people.

God doing 'nothing? Slaves?
Eh, depends on your perspective I suppose,
Or one's hopes.

I think I'd be a better person, and more drawn to good, if I believed God existed,
But eh, I'm a former believer.

And even without belief in God, I see a lot of game theory in the Bible, and various other religious texts.

More by way of benefits, but that should count heavily as well, but few look at it that way. Their loss.

How does one successfully argue a negative? Some atheists are smart enough to know that, as you concluded.

What religious people get if atheists accept that there is a God? Are they getting a salary increase if they do so?
I get rewards from Meow God for each atheist I convert to Meowism. If I didnt try to convert any atheists, Meow God would punish me. Also, I hate all atheists. Meow God hates them too. Meow God loves everyone except atheists and members of other religions.

All the same, uncle. If you believe there is a God but with other traits different to the religious, they are going to piss you off anyway. They will try to convince you that their God is the real one.

So, in the end it's the same fruitless debate that I suggest not to engage in.

It's the ego, Lemming. I tell you why. 

These people that piss us off now with their nonsensical bullshit are exactly the same as the ones that existed in the middle ages. You might have heard about the Inquisition, this Catholic group that persecuted those who didn't agree with them. They killed people in the most abhorrent way only because they didn't tolerate other beliefs. This is pure ego, and probably more evil than that. 

The ego wants to be right all the time and doesn't admit críticism or rejection. If you reject someone that is controlled by his ego, you'd better run away because you're in danger.

I won't cease to repeat that religious fanatics are the most dangerous specimen in this world. You'd just have to see how the muslims are doing, they behave like a primitive society. I heard a case in which an atheist confronted a Muslim about his beliefs. That was in Europe. The dude didn’t consider who he was dealing with. The muslim ended up stabbing him to death because this was his duty in the name of Allah, killing everyone that opposses their dogmas. 

I'm going to be frank with you because you seem to be a good guy. The problem of this world is not that there are people that don't believe in God. This is just a fkn pretext of religious people to get more followers for their religion. The real issue of this world is the ego. People don't understand that this world is fucked up because people are uncapable to control their ego. This is specially true in politics, you'll see a lot of politicians, specially lefties, trying to impose their beliefs allthough they have been proven wrong.

This is the true devil, the ego in us, but people can't see it. Who cares if there is a God? We don’t get anything by believing in a God. The better prove of it is the atheist, most of them are more righteous and moral than Christians.

Only deluded atheists fear death. We believers go to better place when we die. But atheists dont. God Meow grants my wishes and gives me plenty. God loves me, but doesnt love you.
