The best thing he could do is keep the current moderation team with Whiteflame as head moderator, as they have experience. As for adding new moderators, there are many good choices who wont abuse their power, such as Savant, DreamOfLiberty, and me of course.

Fauxlaw and myself are 2 of the best choices for mod.

Mharman is one of my secondary choices.

Especially Mharman.

If not me, then one of 3 I mentioned.

Mharman decided to spew slurs on a now-censored thread and crash out over being told to act mature and obedient to rules.

Mharman is among the single worst options for mod ever.

Not sure what you all had in mind with regards to a redesign and rebrand of the site. Just wanted to say that I really like the way this site is designed as well as it's functionality for whatever it's worth. Hoping the changes are not drastic.

Like most of the other ideas.

I have always admired Lemming's  thoughtful posts and insights. I would strongly support him as a mod.  

Never known Mhar to act like this.

What chaos happening here?, Is there any election for moderator, why people suggesting names, If all active users want to become moderator , then this site will drop, we need only 1 moderator for 100 active users, If we increase moderators then we can't use this site with freedom , so I request all true members of this site to stop unwanted things, . I always support whiteflame as head moderator , until he retries ,  whiteflame has ability to maintain fairness, If you increase moderators rapidly then it severly affects the site members.

I was under the impression a new moderator was being selected in the near future.

They are. 

Barney is on the verge of retirement, which is potentially a bad sign because the mod team will be understaffed. It was implied Barney was rushing, and that's how Adaptable was originally chosen. But since Adaptable has been demodded, it's only a matter of time before someone else is picked for the position. 

And when that time comes, we need to be prepared to make sure that the person in question doesn't pull the same shit.

So as it currently stands, I am vouching for Lemming as my first choice. Mharman as my backup.

That's something we will be working on - fixing all the bugs. There's quite a bit of features that are not working properly 

Right now my primary focus is on getting the website transferred over to me and redesigning the website and adding in new features 

There is no election for moderator positions, but we are openminded to feedback. The site used to have an elected position, but that turned out badly. That said, for some things we do hold referendums; since we're here to serve the community not rule it.

You've likely seen moderation get behind, and that is with a much better ratio than 1 to 100. The problem is this is a debate site, so active users like to argue.

If they didnt delete the thread, I would show you.

Yoy definitely haven't seen it. He deserved 1 week ban minimum. WF and Barney capitulated to crybabies such as Mharman himself and Mikal.

It happened in the Forum Games section and the entire thread has been wiped.

Mharman is significantly racist too btw. He masks it. It came out with his N word usage in that thread as a man that claims he is white.

well idk, i hv other frnds, who hv said that this is a persistent issue, i mean by slow, it doesn;t load up the way we get instant texts or notifications on fb or insta or smthin......
