This video shows all truth. Friendship and love are conditional. The moment you stop being useful to others in all ways, they will stop loving you. The moment people stop needing you is when they will abandon you. People who are your "friends" in real life are just so due to some circumstances. The only friend I have is God alone. People are not my friends. People have always betrayed me. But God never betrayed me. Do not think that you have friends. Your friends just like your use value, not you. They are with you because it is useful to. I noticed many times that no one is my friend really. And I have to pretend to be someone's friend even tho I dont love anyone. Given the right conditions, anyone will become your enemy, really. Except God alone.
No one is my friend

Get used to being a means to an end
Thats how my YouTube channel got 270 subscribers somehow. I subscribe to people, people subscribe back, it gets boring after some time. They pretend to like my videos and I pretend to like theirs lol

No, it was never love if it stopped when you became useless. It was never friendship.
Love is earned by virtue.

Machiavelli was a political theorist. He wasn't writing a guidebook for all social relationships, just for the political sphere. Politics are by their very nature cutthroat, power driven, and pretense-oriented. You shouldn't be applying the same rules to your personal relationships. That's dark, bro.

@LucyStarfire
Very true.
We create associations.
And some are better than others.
But people will always criticize you behind your back.
Love is a nonsense word that we apply liberally and randomly, and generally represents a short term desire.
I would say that the strongest emotional bond we feel is the parent child association.
Partners are unrelated, and as such we have no physical connection to them, though familiarity will sometimes result in a lifetimes loyalty and dependency, but sometimes, discontent and contempt, wherein "LOVE" and loyalty simply fly out of the window.

Then love doesnt even exist.

Use value theory applies to all relationships. Person must be attracted by something you actually offer. If you have no use value, expect poor resuts.

I would say that true love doesnt even exist. It is all about looks, money, power, influence, material wealth and some character. For example, it is better to be funny and entertaining than to be good person.
I would say that the strongest emotional bond we feel is the parent child association.
That is conditional love, otherwise it wouldnt require a condition to be one's parent. Still, many parents are horrible.
-->
@LucyStarfire
Hmmm.
I would agree that love is multifarious arrangements of electro chemical impulses and responses.
Though I would suggest, that some parents can be truly horrible.
Some children can be horrible too, of course.

One is raised by the other.
Naturally, people are only friends when they are useful to each other. If spending time with my best friend did not give me a massive emotional benefit, then she would not be my best friend - and I am sure she feels the same way. A strong friendship is characterized by strong compatibility and enjoyment of each other's company.
As for people betraying and abandoning each other - either you have surrounded yourself by the wrong people, or you do something often that makes others pull away from you. There are people in my life for whom I would put my life on the line witjput a second thought, and who I fully trust to do the same for me if the need arises (and it did several times, and they put their feet where their mouths were).
And "god" being a friend... Which one? The Christian one, the guy who once allegedly exterminated nearly all life on Earth with a flood because his creations did not worship him hard enough? Such friends I would run away from at the speed of light. :D

Hell awaits all those that reject him.
Do you want to be saved?

No, not the Christian one, surely.

I would never sacrifice myself for anyone.

Either way, its use value.
Hell awaits all those that reject him.Do you want to be saved?
Praise God Meow!

As one fictional character said, "Hell sounds like where the party's at: all the fun people go there!"

I do not think of it as self-sacrifice: when someone has an important place in my life, then their well-being becomes my well-being. It is possible that some people never form such strong connections with anyone for a variety of reasons, but if you do form one, you will not be able to deny its power.
I would absolutely place myself between a vicious bear and any of my 5 closest friends. I am quite a romantic.

Meow God will send to Hell anyone who doesnt worship him. Meow Hell is much worse than flood. All sins are forgiven except one: lack of worship.

Sacrificing yourself harms your wellbeing.

That is stupid.

Hell works in isolation.
This idea of it being all demons and sinners together in a community is a hoax from pagan or certain protestant ideas.
It is isolation, you writhe in agony as you feel completely alone.

A lot of people say that Machiavelli was writing satire to criticize the royals but it somehow ironically becoming a sort of guide book for the modern day equivalent.
-->
@WyIted
Machiavelli, if he intended that, was terrible at writing.
His guide book is more geared towards a dirt poor peasant trying to climb up at any cost by any means that does not care about being loathed and seen as evil for how he does it, as opposed to a Royal that wants a good legacy as a great leader.
-->
@AdaptableRatman
Maybe he was terrible at it but the way he presented his message seemed to help the book spread and become popular so it's still remembered to this day. That may have been at the cost of actually spreading the ideology he was critiquing.
With satire it can be very dependent on the culture at the time so stuff can gel lost in translation not just because of language but because it's a type of alien culture as well. I believe there was a book written towards the Irish potato famine that advocated for eating children in a satirical way and now some people read it and think it was a serious policy proposal so satire being read differently in modern times or across cultures isn't too unexpected.
-->
@LucyStarfire
True.
And formative conditioning is their primary influence.
But children are also subject to other influences.
-->
@WyIted
Machiavelli opened my eyes to great truth. Before I thought no one loves me. Now I know that love doesnt exist and I just dont have any use value for others. If I had use value, they would pretend to love me.
-->
@zedvictor4
But children are also subject to other influences.
My parents didnt bother to raise me, so I was raised by internet.
-->
@WyIted
My religion is based on use value. I make myself useful to Gods so they favor me a lot. I do favors to many Gods and then they do favors to me. Once you understand that use value applies to all relationships, you get a much more accurate world view. I used to believe that people love each other for being a good person, but that is not even true.
-->
@WyIted

I've always heard this and hoped it was true, but never came across anything definitively pointing that way.

The only people who love unconditionallyare men.
Mothers who die for their children don't love them unconditionally?
