I don't think Hated Townie is a particularly risky role to fake claim, especially if you have 2 questions to ask if x role is in the game. I'll town read Mikal because he strikes me as a very methodal player and he posts strike me as him reporting his role, offering a SoP lynch and him saying his role deactivates.
Fair enough reasons to townread him, so I won't argue with you. I just don't really buy that Mikal would enter into scum chat, quickly ask about the existence of a Hated role, and then just go for an SOP claim, especially without knowing whether it turns off MYLO/LYLO. Just seems like something he'd be more prepared to answer if this was all planned out.

I will agree with Mikal that RM’s start is weird. Question 1 doesn’t bother me since I can see him dwelling on something that happened in a previous game. Q2-3 are the ones that bother me. Q2 could run on the logic that as long as he behaves in the way he was asked, he’s hard to scumread. Q3 would be more aimed at figuring what he needs to do regarding a fake claim, such as what questions he needs to ask the mod, what angle he goes at for a fake claim, how much risk he can take with one, etc
The thing is, RM is weird. There’s a few players in this site that will sometimes just do weird shit, even as town. RM is on that list for sure, I can already say.

I don’t Casey’s start either. Much less. If anything looks like fishing for info, I agree that it’s more likely to be Casey. The theme split stuff just seems weird to me. No real reason to theorize that right now.
Also, in that same post, she suggests a mass soft… but doesn’t start with her own. Usually when people do these things they just start one and offer themselves as the first to go. Instead she just kinda asked everyone else if they wanted to.
First half 24 also stands out like it’s just a red herring. I’m not gonna concern myself about fake claims that were given to scum, I think pretty obvious they weren’t and I think Casey knows this. 2+2 together; if they had fake claims they wouldn’t need the ability to ask the mod questions about what is/isn’t in the game.

I’m still okay with killing RM. I think his posts are manufactured and he’s way less aggressive than he normally is. If you compare the past 2 games he was town, this one is a completely different style of play. If not kill, I’d like to get a full claim

It is in every towny's best interest to not investigate me. It may backfire or be a waste of time.
I am telling you that my role is special and it is a role where visiting me ends up a waste as I will have done useful stuff by end of NP2.
