I'm genuinely so tired of seeing people misuse the term 'gaslighting'. I'm not even saying this just to you in particular, I'm just saying this in general because I see it all the time and it genuinely pisses me off. Disagreeing with someone is not gaslighting. Even misleading or outright lying to someone is not inherently gaslighting. Gaslighting is a complex abuse strategy that involves lots of conditioning over time to make someone doubt their own thoughts, memories, and emotions. Unless you think that everyone here is involved in a complex plot to mentally abuse you (and somehow I can buy that you'd actually believe that), then no, no one here is involved in any gaslighting.

As far as balance goes, I didn’t care for it. I’d give both sides equal shots to win it, but the setup was going to be either incredibly townsided or scumsided based on the decisions of 1-2 players.I think whichever side lost the game would’ve always been a little frustrated with how they lost, as far as the setup mechanics go. Winning doesn’t feel super satisfying bc of it.Regardless, I’ve seen wayyyyy worse when it comes to setups. So if I lower my standards a bit, it was an ok start for a new setup creator.

I agree with pretty much all of this tbh. Swingy games can still be fun, but this was swingy in a bit of a weird way imo. But it's not bad for a first game. I still think it's crazy that you made a game called Feminism Mafia and didn't include Gloria Steinem, Susan B Anthony or Sojourner Truth at all, tho. That genuinely kind of blows me away.

Gaslighting refers to this movie where a guy was driving his wife crazy by turning the gas light just very slightly darker every single day so it was unnoticeable but if you look back like a week you noticed your in more darkness.
