Imagine for a moment that Russia, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the European Union all decided that the United States was "unstable" and should "denuclearize".Because we need a deal that's good for us. Here's an idea. They denuclearize, we remove the sanctions.
They cut off all trade and say, "just get rid of your nukes and we'll play nice."
Should the United States give up their nukes and agree to international inspections and ongoing monitoring forever and ever?

Nobody is "supporting" theocracy.
I'm simply pointing out that nearly everything "bad" you say about Iran also applies to Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, India, Pakistan, China...
If you sanction one of them, you should sanction all of them.
