Holy shit, Vaarka, if you lose this game for us I'm gonna be pissed. Ethan literally townread Danielle on DP1 before Danielle made any posts. Am I insane? Am I completely missing something? There's no reason for the DP to be taking this long, or to be going in this direction.

gotta say scumteam really boofed this day phase up bad the way these votes are cast...there's no way in hell that buddha/hammer are not some sort of team because a 2/3 vote on a lylo. Gottta say that to leave that up for so long for me to catch was a dumb scumplay.

We had zero PR's. Purposely eliminated both you and Drafter because we realized it would coast us to an easy no lynch. And oh no, let's just replace you back in so town can actually reach a consensus.

Noob ass mods rigging games against mafia cause they suck as town and don't realize forum mafia already advantages town because it's extended and recorded 😂.

The freekin mod swapped me in and wouldn't tell me my role lol.....had to assume it was still vanilla from earlier claim.

Yeah this game fell apart. I get that he didn't like seeing his game have no activity near the end, but there's no reason to extend the DP (by two days, mind you) when fewer people are around than before. Replacing people from within the game is also something that shouldn't really ever be done, but it's been SOP on DDO for years so that's a little more forgivable.

Neither of us did. He told us you were replacing in ahead of time and we both spammed the mafia chat and DART chat telling him not to. It didn't work.

I don't think the replacement policy is objectionable. Otherwise Mafia just has to kill the active players and auto-win every game. As much as I would like to enforce activity requirements, we literally couldn't have viable mafia here without a replacement policy. Yeah, ideally, people that can't commit or are unwilling to play and be active shouldn't, but until that happens we need something to compensate.

Replacing in players that the mafia killed is definitely objectionable. I don't do it in my games, and I try my hardest to avoid replacing in lynched townies.

Mafia isn't all about the mechanics and machinery behind the game. If the mafia wants to NK someone because that person might catch them, that should be their right and that person shouldn't be allowed to rejoin the game.

Ideally, I agree, but I just don't see that as feasible given the current inactivity of players. Might as well just not do Mafia.

You can replace in lynched players, or people that weren't in the game in the first place.

But it wasn't just the replacements that were an issue. It was also that the DP got extended by two days for no reason. That's explicitly favoring town when three days should be plenty of time for them to get a lynch together.

No I think it is reasonable. I extended DP bc it's the weekend and most people won't be on that long. It isn't bastardizing the game. It's Ethans role he got and stepped into.
