I would like to see something called Original Content added as either a subforum a seperate header

This could be for people who want to post their own original content into DART and let everyone see. This could be things like Music, YouTube Channel, Art, Writing, Production, etc. I feel like everyone has a skill, and this subforum can help people with their skill

I feel like "majority forfeited" sounds more fair, so someone can't say "I aceept" in round 1 and proceed to waste hours of the debaters. Sorry to you and drafterman that I did not catch the thread. I'm extremely grateful to have an understanding, consientious, and hard working moderator as you; I have faith DART will be great.

Okay, so I have changed the implementation to the one mentioned before, all forfeits OR no casted votes make the debate failed and prevent the rating change.

How do I get DART to stop sending me email notifications? Sorry if it's a dumb question. I can't find an option for it in notification settings.

If some notification is disabled in the notifications settings but you still get the emails, it's a bug. Can you please elaborate? What kind of emails are you getting?

So mentions are only implemented for debate comments and forum posts, for the former, there is a setting called New addressed comment in the notifications settings -> "Debates" tab; for the latter, there is New addressed forum post in the notifications settings -> "Forum" tab. Those settings should allow to disable or enable the notifications. But let me know if they don't work.

Also, please notice that you have to save the settings per tab. So if you need to change the settings in two different tabs, you gotta make the changes in the first tab, save it, then do the settings in the second and save them again.

New private message, new mention in a forum post, etc.

So mentions are only implemented for debate comments and forum posts, for the former, there is a setting called New addressed comment in the notifications settings -> "Debates" tab; for the latter, there is New addressed forum post in the notifications settings -> "Forum" tab. Those settings should allow to disable or enable the notifications. But let me know if they don't work.

That option says, "You will be notified when someone mentions you in a forum post."

It doesn't say anything about emails. I actually thought this setting controls whether we get notifications on DART. I don't want to turn on-site notifications off. I just don't want email clutter.

Oh I see. Well, notifications settings are EMAIL specific, there is currently no way to disable activity notifications :) So just toggle those and you should be fine :)

You mean all arguments by both sides? Then that's fine.

If it's only by one side, I still have a problem with it.

Yeah, all arguments from both sides. So if there are 3 rounds, then all 6 arguments have to be forfeited for the debate to be considered failed.

Well, it's not a big deal for me to implement it but let's do what I always try to do: ask other people. Could you please create a separate topic for that, explaining what you precisely want and how you think it should be implemented. And we give it some time and if everything goes alright, I'll add it to the list and implement at some point, probably after I merge some other forum categories into bigger ones.

I chose a country and it didn't give me the Medal. Tested twice. I think it only enacted if you already had one by the time you made medals.
