Checking in vs discussion, I feel like just lynching at this point isn’t the optimal play, I feel like D1/2 is always 86 pages then we speed through the rest and that’s not the best case scenario

A long time ago someone on mafiascum told me the theory that if town has already determined a consensus direction to go in the DP, then we actually shouldn't reveal too much of our reads anymore because it shows our hand to scum.
So if your qualm is about lynching grey specifically, then I get it. But if your qualm is about ending the DP too early, then you shouldn't worry and just do the hammer already.

i feel like we've exhausted everything anyone's wanted to say, i mean if no one has anything to say i could hammer right now.
I mean, the only reason I'd want to continue the phase is because I am likely dead tonight, but otherwise I am completely fine lynching greyparrot for the aforementioned reason. If it was a townslip oh well, but objective data shows pie hasn't put any generally scum sided roles on the towns team in recent games, so that's the nail in the coffin for me.
If I am dead I reccomend you guys push the rest of the claims tomorrow, hopefully we can POE from there. If greyparrot is town you know to be wary of investigators.
The mikal kill could have literally been drafter trying to save his sanity or someone trying to set drafter up btw. Something to think about. Quite a few people town read elminster so that could also be why he was killed, but he himself said he wasn't a power role, so I kind of buy into a drafter vendetta kill.

I don't have a problem lynching GreyParrot. If I have read correctly, his role works similiar to a Gramps (well rereading DP it seems like the conclusion). I do think it's the best course of action to lynch GP. While I am usually hesistant to lynch off meta breaking, GP makes claiming first a hard meta and the fact he hasn't done it is suspicious enough. I also haven't gotten a clear enough read on players like Speed to determine their affiliation

Basically I think we have enough evidence of town and are at such at advantage that lynching GP as a meta when he has a scummy role that can be interpreted as Gramps versus the unique role I haven't heard will be enough for me to vote to lynch
