You meant his ones here. I agree we should have shut everything down before it hit our shores. As an AMeircan I mean America. Nobody in or out unless when they come in they are quarantined offshore for 2 weeks. Once it hit american shores though, I think given the fact everyone will inevitably get it, we should strive to live a mostly normal life.
I think now with the omicron strain being very much no big deal, that Biden should declare victory on Covid19, instead of letting the next administration get credit. Whatever he says the media will go along with anyway, and he would happen to be correct to declare victory now.
His desire to over react doesn't surprise me. America has a very individualistic and freedom loving culture fortunately and I don't expect Europeans to understand or be the same as us.
