A PAC scam has nothing to do with the official administration of our elections. Some scammer taking money from gullible voters saying the money will be used for political purposes is one of Trump’s latest scams but that doesn’t reflect on the security of our elections.

Same thing goes for the recent lies told by Congressman elect George Santos.

Accepting bribes in return for government contracts also does not reflect on the security of our elections.

So tell me, why do you idiots want voter ID laws? How would that prevent the crimes you cited?

The guy funneling foreign money to US elections was funneling money from Russia to Trump which you idiots have been claiming never happened and was the “Russian Hoax”. And you are on the record supporting the idiot Trump. You are a piece of work. A moron.

So the one election fraud case you cited was done to favor Trump, the guy who says the elections are corrupt. Trump is the one who tried to cheat in our elections, including trying to overturn a legitimate election that he no doubt tried his best to cheat in.

Mark Meadows's corrupt and criminal conduct in undermining free and fair elections in the USA?
If our elections can be undermined by Mark Meadows, then they are neither free nor fair.
  • well that's obviously false.  I assume you don't understand what the word "undermine" means.
    • Anybody working to lessen the effectiveness of an election is undermining that election.
    • For example, you undermine the US electoral process by pumping out false, compromising misinformation about US election regularly.
    • Mark Meadows encouraged his charge to overthrow the US election by repeatedly whispering false voting information into his ear and never correcting even the President's wildest fantasies but Meadows failed to support even a single example of voting fraud during the investigations that followed.
      • Furthermore, Mark Meadows and his wife were registered to vote in 3 different states while falsely accusing others of fraud.
    • In spite of Meadows many nefarious plots, secret meetings, broken oaths and silly lies, the 2020 Election he was sworn to protect was freer and fairer than any prior presidential election.

Trumpet > Mark Meadows > kari Lake etc degrade human existence.

..." GOP Consultant On Kari Lake's Political Career: It's A Wrap In Arizona

Lake, a Trump-backed Republican who repeatedlycast doubt on the results of her gubernatorial election loss, announced that she would appeal the judge’s ruling. Earlier this week, she was also ordered to pay $33,000 in fees incurred by Gov.-elect Katie Hobbs (D) and her team.
Chuck Coughlin, an Arizona-based Republican consultant, told The Hill on Friday that Lake has caused herself harm as a result of the “degradation” of Arizona institutions. "...

What republicans dont care about institutions?  They have no moral or ethical integrity. No surprises there and that is why Trumpet got in an still mouthing off while running for GOP.  Nutcases most all of them. End date for humanity 2232 give or take 50 years

Institutions apparently have no integrity either if one man can significantly undermine the election results.

one man can significantly undermine the election results.
One man? You mean the President of the United States or his Chief of Staff? They tried to steal the electIon. They failed. 57 Senators agreed Trump started an insurrection. Now he and Meadows should be prosecuted.

This just speaks VOLUMES about you and your utter lack of emotional and intellectual intelligence. True poster child for the Dunning Kruger effect. Of course we all know you don’t know what that means, and even if you looked it up you still don’t understand it. You’re simply not equipped to, intellectually that is.

Yours truly,

Yes, that’s how you skyrocketed to the rank of Corporal in the military, by demonstrating your supreme intellect. That and your knowledge of Star Trek episodes.

I think you know, linguistically that "undermining" and "working to undermine" are completely different.

You said Mark Meadows is undermining our elections. You didn't say he worked to undermine them.

"Undermining" implies he is successful. "Working to undermine" implies he has not succeeded.

The definition of undermine:
"to subvert or weaken insidiously or secretly" (merriam webster)

Mark Meadows did not do this. He burned a few pieces of paper. He did not subvert our entire electoral process or an election.

I know he didn't do this, because even you admitted it was the most free and fair election in U.S. history.

Ergo, Mark Meadows cannot undermine our elections. He can work to undermine them, but, unless he is more powerful than the Pentagon, he can't undermine our elections.

I am glad you don't think he can undermine our elections. I was worried that you fell off the reservation for a second.

Yes, it was bent but not broken. The system held thanks to a few Republicans who have integrity. They are all gone now. Replaced with morons by morons.

That is a monumentally false statement.

It was bent by Trump. Trump and Republicans cheated but the system held. Unless Trump cheated with the goal of helping Biden win, we know Biden won by getting more votes than Trump both in the popular vote and the electoral college.

If Trump successfully cheated, as you claim, then it was not a free nor fair election, right?

A free and fair election necessarily implies ZERO cheating. If there's significant cheating, enough, in your own words, to literally bend the election, then that is not a free nor fair election.

If anything, according to your analysis, this would mean that potentially millions of Democrats were not represented in 2020 because Trump cheated successfully. Doesn't that bother you in the slightest that you admit the election was, in some capacity "bent" to the point where it made a difference?

I could give two shits whichever side cheats, the fact is, cheating that is successful is a threat to our Democracy. It doesn't matter who cheated. If Trump lost illegitimately, who is to say he will lose illegitimately in 2024? Why can't he just "cheat better" next cycle? After all, according to Democrats he successfully cheated his way into the White House in 2016.

And there has been a lot of illegitimate election activity that was successfully indicted by the DOJ thus far, Democrats and Republicans alike. This tells me that our elections are neither free nor fair. Mark Meadows is the most recent example of this, but there have been others, like the vote buying scheme in Louisiana:

Or this Tennessee Senator who illegally coordinated secretly with an independent PAC:

I'm just saying, there's plenty of evidence our elections are neither free nor fair. Welcome to the club!

Whether or not anyone was successful or not is irrelevant. The mere fact people believe one man had the possibility in and of itself proves that there are no secure elections.

There also has been zero talk about how exactly to prevent one man from POSSIBLY destroying our election system.

The system should be foolproof against any one person, if it is to safeguard the will of millions.

That’s nonsense. Trump and Meadows were engaged in a conspiracy to defraud the United States. They were not acting alone. And we aren’t talking about ordinary citizens, we are talking about people inside the government who violated their oath of office.

This is so dumb. The people who are claiming the election wasn’t free and fair are the ones who were cheating. Trump lost so he was not ultimately successful in cheating.

We had a Special Counsel to investigate Trump’s cheating in 2016. The Mueller report confirmed the Russians tried to influence our election and he indicted dozens of Russians in the process. Trump was able to use his office to shield himself from accountability mainly because Republicans in Congress put their party and their political prospects ahead of the country. They acted in the same way for 2020. This time it was extortion of the Ukrainian President and fomenting an insurrection.

For example, nobody in the USA believes it is POSSIBLE for one person in the government to legally burn their house down.

Imagine if that were to change. Just how safe, free, fair or secure would you feel then?
