Perfection means to be without flaw.
And sin is flaw, yes?

So, to be perfect, you must be without flaw/sin.

This is one reason why I don’t want to be religious.
We may not want to, but we each have a set of religious practices we do, to maintain order. That is the purpose of a religion, to maintain order via a set of moral and intellectual practices.

Relgious practice, in of itself is, not bad. It is likened to religous brushing of teeth, or combing of hair etc.

The bad associated with some religions is the irrational, lack of common sense and lack of critical thinking nonsense they spew outwards and close themselves off to logical, common sense, critical thinking processes that lead to truth.

By that logic,
Does it follow people should pursue the quickest path to wealth, then retire?

If you don’t care about money and value all work as equal, that makes sense.  But most people do value money and would perfer certain jobs to others per hour of work.

Well, the point is more about sacrificing the short term quality of life, for the long term quality of life.

Its very simple. The reasons why christians who obey God and scriptures are nonsensical to you, is because your mind is blinded by the god of this world. Satan. and you cannot do the things that please God because you serve satan after your passions and lusts.

if you would desire hope, peace, truth, love and your hearts desires. Repent, turn to Jesus Christ, love and obey him and believe on him only. Then your mind will be unshackled from the blindness, the shame, the guilt and hatred toward God.

YOUFOUND_LXAM, that wants to be as Bible Dumb®️ as Miss Tradesecret, and that has committed the unpardonable sin,

YOUR LAUGHABLE QUOTE OF CONTINUED DESPAIR: "You know I don't read your posts Brother D."

Oh, don't worry, YOU READ THEM, because you can't help yourself in NOT reading them!  LOL!

Besides, the one that you have to worry about in reading them, is Jesus the Christ (Hebrews 4:13), and Him seeing that you are still parading around in a Religion Forum pertaining to His Christianity subsequent to you committing the Unpardonable Sin, where you have no more foundation to be upon this forum in the first place in Jesus' name!  BLASPHEME!

Jesus most certainly has plans for you upon Judgment Day in committing the Unpardonable Sin:

"And throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 13:42)

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

"But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin” (Mark 3:29)

“And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven." (Luke 12:8-10)

NEXT PSEUDO-CHRISTIAN LIKE "YOUFOUND_LXAM" THAT HAS COMMITTED THE UNPARDONABLE SIN, AND WHERE HIS LIFE IS NOW WORTHLESS IN THE EYES OF JESUS, WILL BE ... ?

1.     Although what occurred and did not occur for latin america can be debated, I wish to focus on how the example of franciscan devotion order is not socialist just as catholicism is not a form if socialism.

Our primary evidence invludes:
A. )The franciscan order is based on volunteer participation. No one has to join and the practices in general do not reach across catholicism in general. Even for being the most popular order, it does not represent the majority.

B.) Franciscan order is not political. The order preaches individual participation not a national participation. This is done for a very personal and spiritual gain. Socialism is based on the growth and gain of the general population which sometimes causes the individual identity to loose if the population is to gain. Thus socialism is political as it depends on the majority.

The friars wandered and preached among the people,  c). helping the poor and the sick. They supported themselves by working and by begging d. )for food, but they were forbidden to accept money either as payment for work or as alms.
C.) Socialist practices may include a health care system that everyone may participate in, but it puts on a limit to how far to help someone. Euthenasia and other means to limit help recieved by sick and impoverished are supported in socialist economies where they are not supported (at least by policy) by franciscan order.

 D. ) As socialism uses the populas to generate an economy we can see that the ideal franciscan is supposed to live outside the normal economy. However this may have changed in our time, there is no political or economic policy to generate an economy. Nothing to influence the economy out side personal gain.

2.   Is catholicism as a whole an example of socialism? No. Above points transition to catholicism as well. Times change and policies come and go right?

There are two aspects to consider. Catholicism in its begining and as it is now.

Many aspects about policy vs practice can differ. A person who may preach on "do not kill," May have a brother who kills. All religions have some example of members participating in some practice that violates that religion's policies. Catholism is no different. We are all human and exist in error.

However what a thing or group is, will be based  first on policy. We see more examples within bible and other historical documents (letters, etc. ) where policy differs from that of socialism. Even in most extreme examples, where personal property is allowed and not collected.

B.) Furthermore, we see a full rejection of socialism by the church as a whole.

This is not nazism vs communism where a national identity struggles against a global identity.
If Socialism, like all errors, contains some truth (which, moreover, the supreme pontiffs have never denied), it is based nevertheless on a theory of human society peculiar to itself and irreconcilable with true Christianity. Religious socialism, Christian socialism, are contradictory terms; no one can be at the same time a good Catholic and a true socialist (Pius XI’s Quadragesimo Anno, 120).
The Church has rejected the totalitarian and atheistic ideologies associated in modem times with “communism” or “socialism”  (Catechism, 2425)

I was born with alllllll the religions me in .
I just weeded them out.
Picture a Christian mommy and a christin daddy have a aadorable little Muslim baby.
If thats hard to picture .

Picture the stats or "christians"  havin " christians " and Muslims having muslim kids .
Freaky stat that one.

Its feaky like the nuber of theists that are currently in the  corretct religion into religious group.
One surly couldn't bd sure that they are in the wrong " group "

But the stat would approx 98%
To clarify.
98 OUT OF 100 Religious people pick the correct group out of ( to  be fair 20 ) there couldn't be to many more religious groups then 20 .
Well there definitely isnt 50.

Imagine collecting these stats of people in the right group.
Halfway through a day of stat collect, your jaws on the ground and you just want to keep going until someone say NO.

Trulllllylylylylyly.  Amazing  statssssssss.

Im just asking . Can you imagine it. ?

First off, let me say you have my sympathy for being part of that.

I was just curious since your knowledge of the bible seems to be lacking with some of the comments you made.

Deb, you are about as screwy as they come.

Sense and making sense is subjective. You think different than me and we come to different conclusions on the same topic. That makes sense?
