In Kentucky, a 24 yo man committed suicide after years of bullying by peers and ignorant adults who refused to accept that a boy could be born in a girl’s body.

This obviously is a sad situation.
You have a confused kid, who most likely suffers with gender dysphoria.
This is a horribly sad situation, but this could be avoided if the parents had made the decision to take their child to a therapist and help them to come to terms with their biological sex.
Most children who suffer from gender dysphoria, and don't get any surgery and go to a therapist, 95% of the time come to terms with their biological sex.
The solution to these confused kids isn't to bully them, give them drugs, or cut off their body parts and organs/ castrate them.
When a child says to others and parents that they feel like the opposite gender, parents and everyone should take that as a call to help and a sign that their child is suffering with a mental challenge.
The left loves to use the argument that people with gender dysphoria will die (commit suicide) if they don't get surgery and transition.
But they fail to realize that less kids will suffer from this if you stop pushing the transgender movement. Less kids will have gender dysphoria the less you push it.
You want to stop these suicides, then stop pushing this agenda to confused kids and screw them over mentally and psychologically.

They also fail to mention all the people who will kill themselves at some point when they've realized they've sterilized themselves, rendered themselves unable to reach orgasm, reduced their potential pool of life-partners to a small fraction of what it might have been, messed with their body chemistry in a way that requires constant and sometimes painful & dangerous maintenance AND to top that all off, their parents and therapists encouraged them to do this; the very people who were meant to protect them from the confusions of youth.
It's already happened. It will keep happening.
The world is cruel, they make it more cruel by lying about the problems they can solve. They can't give you a new functioning body. They can only destroy parts of the one you have and fight the constant stream of RNA screaming "I'm a male/female so build this hormone or that protein".
Case closed, we can open it up again when they can transfer your consciousness to a clone of the opposite sex... except by that time they will almost certainly be able to pin down any biological causes of gender dysphoria.
