That is also why you seem to need people like Trump and Biden, you have nothing better to do on either side of the fucking aisle than worry about everything you stand against instead of what you stand for.

People going hehe what about this omg Biden failed this, Trump has been arrested for barely any crimes he committed hehehehe. I know Trump was a collosal fuckup and a dirtbag but why focus on that? Focus on who you want in power and how well they are doing instead. Every thread on the Internet about politics is pretty much waaa waaa this is what we don't want and this is who we don't like.

I am no different, I don't like people and stand against things too but start to ask yourself why you're so pressed about it. People always debate 'against' but why not debate *for*. You have people on the 'liberal' side here being absolutely asinine bullies to many and even relishing in alienating them by calling them 'dummy' and worse. You have similar from the right wing, enjoying the agitation they cause people with their punk-ass threads.

This isn't how it should be, I just know that much. Politics should be argued from the side you believe in for the cause you believe in. Why are you so hung up on your enemies and their flaws? Worry about your own strengths and flex it, then perhaps work on the flaws in your political outlook if you notice a logical fallacy or imperfection.

Nobody really gets the context of this post. 

People pride themselves on being critical thinkers because they immediately reject the consensus of a representative of whatever party they don’t like and calling their followers sheep. 

These ‘rebels’ are just as much sheep because they don’t have any original beliefs or values of their own. They’re just doing the opposite of what the target of their attention is doing for an ego boost and to stand out.

And I have next to 0 respect for you, prez-hilton. I guess it adds up.

However, if I don't state some things I stand for, I will look a ridiculous hypocrite here then.

Three strong things I believe in are:

  1. Animal rights, merciful treatment and painless killing over pushing for veganism.
  2. Privacy, things like warrants and limitations on surveillance.
  3. Ensuring the rich stay tamed and co trollable via taxation and law enforcement. I'd prefer a dickish government taming corporations than the inverse.

The title is so disconnected from the ranting and raving dog a madman, literally. The irony of the hypocrisy within is astounding. 

When people argue against things more than for things, they’re also arguing for things by virtue of arguing against those things that contradict that which they are for. Like, duh! 

Me thinks RM is just getting tired of being constantly disproven here at DART. I mean, he challenges me and I acquiesce only to see him tuck tail and walk away. Intellectual cowardice at its finest. All bark and no bite.

so I’ve come across a few discussions and debates that appear to show you as a believer and proponent of the debunked old dogmatic religious view that Earth is actually flat, not spherical. Is this true? For reals? No devils advocate stuff, but you actually believe the very planet we live on is, flat? Like the Phantom Zone jsut twirling through space and time?

All kidding aside, this is all part of a Hegelian Dialectic--creating problems so one can "engineer" or "synthesize" solutions. And the reason they convey that against which they stand as opposed to that for which they stand is that ultimately, they don't don't have the power to stand up for anything. Because they've ceded their authority to cyclical rabble rousing and specious political narratives. And to boot, politicians thrive on this dynamic.
