I told you that U.S. election isn't contested based on popular vote, so I forced you to make the argument that broke down the 80,000 votes are distrusted across several states, to show the relative percentages.

Just to be abundantly clear: As far as we know, these were both sick jokes. Kjellberg has no connection to either man, and there is zero evidence that their deeds were actually inspired by him. But he was not a randomly chosen target either. For years, Kjellberg has been trying, fairly unsuccessfully, to shed a reputation as a far-right sympathizer. Partly, that’s because a few years ago, he made some Holocaust jokes on his channel, which led to a nuclear-grade backlash. And partly, it’s because Kjellberg responded to being called out for those jokes, and other offensive statements, the way a reactionary might: by mocking his critics, casting himself as the victim of a media smear campaign and refusing to back down.

So apparently White Nationalists are big fans of PewDiePie. But it’s totally innocuous. He’s not really anti-Semitic, he just thinks it’s funny to say anti-Semitic things and words don’t really matter, right?

Of course there's more to the story, but no matter what it is, the shooting was not justified, and the shooter is one of those "responsiible gun owners" you guys are always blathering about.

What if the homeowner yelled at the parents to keep their ball out of the yard?

What if the parents then said something like STFU I will shoot your ass don't talk to us that way and then he put his hand in his pants to mime he has a gun and is about to pull it? 

There is 100 different possible scenarios and we just don't know enough to make the claims made in this thread about how the homeowner is agist against 6 year olds. 

As far as responsible gun owners is concerned. I never even mentioned mentioned it. You won't find a post of mine with those 2 words next to each other outside of this one. What type of retarded strawman is it to even claim pro gun people think every single person is a responsible gun owner?

The only way to avoid this type of scenario seems like a complete gun ban. If that's what you are arguing for let's set up a debate. You can't win because of how retarded the concept is, but we can do it.

I informed her that Trump won 3 swing states by 80,000 votes to win in 2016. A very small margin for 3 whole state elections 

She responded by saying “the correct context is the winning margin in each individual state”. Obviously 80,000 votes in any 3 swing states is a very very small number but she wasn’t recognizing this.

This makes no sense, unless she is so unfamiliar with the United States she doesn’t realize that millions of votes were cast in these three states that were famously decisive in the 2016 election for Trump.

That’s why her ignorance was deserving of nothing but derision. Although I will cut her some slack now for not being a U.S. citizen/resident 

The United States presidential election is determined by electoral votes, not close states or popular vote.
Donald Trump won 304 electoral votes compared to Hillary Clinton's 227 -- a comfortable victory.
She also kept insisting that it’s the electoral votes that matter as if she didn’t understand that state electoral votes are awarded by winning the popular vote in each state.

LOL you still don't get why your statistics here don't support the argument you're making, you big dumb oaf.

80,000 across 3 states doesn't tell us enough. We need to know what states, how close the margins were in those individual states, and thus the percentage won by (which you eventually did anyway, so why did you do that if you didn't think it was necessary?)

For example, if 40,000 of those votes came from Hawaii, it might not have been close at all. Hawaii has about 1.6 million people. If about 1/4 of them vote (since voting isn't compulsory in America), that means about 400,000 voted. 40,000 difference with only 400,000 voters is a *massive* percentage difference. Do you need me to spell that out further for you?

Clearly, it matters which states were the 3 and what the margins were in those states. Why are you unable to understand that? Why did you post the 3 state's split margins anyway, if you thought it wasn't necessary?
