Don't be stupid. The entire purpose of the forum section of this website is to find people willing to argue against an interesting topic, so you can set up a debate, it isn't to spread propaganda like you or Roosevelt does.
There is a huge difference between arguing devil's advocate topics in the forum section of the website and calling some kid an idiot and harming his self esteem.
I know what you do here. You debate topics you have a strong belief in. "Bigfoot isn't real". Because you have this idiotic belief that debate is about spreading the truth or some other ignorant shit.
Look, you did a good job in your response to the op. You defeated the argument from what I can tell. Instead of crying that kids should be insulated from these arguments, or calling kids idiots who believe in these arguments, perhaps you should be teaching them how you research and think about these things. I think it would be more useful than being triggered by it.
If I see a harmful belief and people are doing a really shitty job arguing against it, what do I do? Look at Kaitlyn's thread using a study showing 30% of black people hate white people. I disproved it after I make a few posts to give others a chance. Which is sad by the way because like 30 eyes had seen it and were unable to defeat her argument and were essentially arguing against her conclusions, instead her premises.
Showing kids that a variety of opinions exist, is not going to harm them. What's harmful is calling them idiots unprovoked because you don't like an argument they are making.
You can sit here and be an idiot claiming that 90% of the site members currently here shouldn't be here because they are still in highschool, or you could actually make yourself useful by teaching them some critical thinking skills to vaccinated them from the ability to be radicalized.
BoNus, you likely believe that critical thinking skills are going to make somebody a leftards like you, so by giving them weapons to recognize and defeat bad arguments, you can bring America one step closer to being like Venezuela like you want, by increasing the pool of people who support shitty policies such as you do.
