What would the Utopian society be in terms of Religious, Political, and Social Ideology?
In this forum, I encourage you to share your vision of a perfect society, where everyone lives in harmony, justice, and happiness.

We will cover the following questions to get started, but please feel free to ask new ones related to the topic:
  • How would you describe your utopian society in terms of religious, political, and social ideology; add a description of how society would be run and structured?
  • How would individuals maintain a part of that society and be involved in its affairs?
  • How would individuals feel unified within that society? What are the benefits and challenges of creating and sustaining such a society?
  • What are the sources of inspiration or influence for your utopian society?
  • Would there be a code of conduct and commonly held values and what would their purpose be?

Please use the following guidelines to productively participate in the forum:
  • Be open-minded and curious. Do not dismiss or ignore answers that challenge your reality or beliefs. Try to embrace them as opportunities to learn and grow. Try to approach them with logical, critical, and professional minds, and seek to understand the evidence and reasoning behind them.
  • Be empathetic and respectful. Do not judge or ridicule other people’s perspectives or experiences. Try to comprehend their viewpoints and appreciate their contributions to the larger and more intricate reality. Try to see how different perspectives can form a more complex and complete picture of the world.
  • Be honest and humble. Do not claim or imply that your knowledge is superior or definitive. Try to acknowledge the limitations and uncertainties of your knowledge, and the sources and influences that shape it. Try to value words for their merits and usefulness, not for the labels or credentials of their source.
  • Be relevant and on-topic. Do not deviate from the main topic of the forum. Do not post irrelevant or off-topic comments and links that aren't productive to the questions being discussed.
  • Be constructive and creative. Do not simply criticize or reject other people’s ideas. Try to offer positive feedback, suggestions, or alternatives.
  • Be clear and concise. Try to use clear and simple language as much as possible. To have effective communication it is necessary to speak understandably.
I hope everyone enjoys this forum.

  • How would you describe your utopian society in terms of religious, political, and social ideology; add a description of how society would be run and structured?
Religious
Secular as fuck but Islamoskeptic. Muslims inherently are dogmatic if you let their influence grow, they literally will turn a place Sharia. Beyond that, very neutral on religion just against cults, especially groomer incest cults as at the very least they should be given a chance (the minors) to get educated and have a chance at freedom.

Circumcision totally outlawed, arranged marriages allowed if consent is present.

Political
Social Democrat / Progressive

Social Ideology
How is this separate or different to the Politics and Religion combined?

Add a description of how society would be run and structured?
That is coming in what you ask next anyway.
Think of Progressive nations' sharing, caring and innovation meeting Right Wing redpill tough, intelligent guy / sexy, healthy and adept girl ethos.

  • How would individuals maintain a part of that society and be involved in its affairs?
Depends on the part... wth?

  • How would individuals feel unified within that society? What are the benefits and challenges of creating and sustaining such a society?
They'd not be very unified, it would be pretty individualistic but in such a way that all individuals are compelled to care and help others with being a ruthless, totaly narcissistic prick being shamed, ridiculed etc.

  • What are the sources of inspiration or influence for your utopian society?
Plato's Republic partly, mostly just modern day Western Europe plus Scandinavia. You could really include Japan in this and Australia plus NZ. Canada used to be an inspiration but it's going too whackjob left-wing rather than smart left-wing as of late and there is a dangerous right-wing movement in it and biker gangs etc that are armed with firearms even.

  • Would there be a code of conduct and commonly held values and what would their purpose be?
Yes.

Love and nurture one another, be true to who you are but realise that someone else being true to who they are may conflict with that and at such times value security and progress above any other thing.

I want a safe population that is then using that safety to progress and push boundaries, new movie subgenres, new musical shit, new science discoveries and all that jazz. I want more knowledge of BDSM and kinky sex, porn shouldn't be taboo but frequently being a slut/thot should be somewhat discouraged within reason (men can be sluts and thots too under my definition, it should be discouraged for both). I'd much rather teenagers learn to be masturbating virgins, focused on school and shit, urges out their system, no shame doing it or enjoying stimulating material for it, rather than it all being taboo and a tonne of goddamn pregnancies and STIs to deal with (not to mention broken hearts, being cheated on stings worse if they had sex, let's be realistic).

I get some people have this stigma and pride attached where they don't want to be branded 'virgin loser' but seriously is it that hard to wait for your first relationship or at least until 20 to do so? I don't get it, maybe never will to the day I die.

Intelligence should also be valued but creativity and progress held above that as well as security. I want everyone trained to a medium level in striking martial arts, no mercy if someone is a threat to someone, you hear a scream nearby go in, swords wielded. I think of it like a new age samurai culture of sorts (not the corrupt Shogun stuff, just Samurai ethos), knife crime solved by making everyone extremely capable at it but ofc the police force and military most so and they will have firearms and tasers too, nobody else will.

A society of completely re-engineered and reprogrammed ageless people.

Where population control is automated, regulated and selective.

And any aberrations that slip trough the net are automatically deactivated.

So that all strive together as one to achieve the ultimate knowledge and the universal evolutionary goal.

Alongside their A.I. Masters.

Well, it wouldnt be hard, it would be depressing and most people wouldnt follow it. Some have stronger sexual urges than others. It would be like physical pain to them that would last for 5 or more years if they waited until 20.

My Utopian society would be society without pain.

What would the Utopian society be in terms of Religious, Political, and Social Ideology?
Religion would have to be a form of Christianity. Political and social ideology would be hard work, refusal of wealth, living by owning as few things as possible. No one would drive cars or private planes. No one would have lots of money to use for private purposes.

add a description of how society would be run and structured?
In order for such society to exist, people must accept it as ideal. If they accept it, then how it is run and structured becomes irrelevant, as it being run and its structure will rise naturally from society of such individuals. If there are no such individuals, then no structure will work.

How would individuals maintain a part of that society and be involved in its affairs?
By operating under principle that every action should never cause more pain than it removes.

How would individuals feel unified within that society? What are the benefits and challenges of creating and sustaining such a society?
They would feel unified as great majority of people hates pain the most.
Benefits are that there would be less pain.
Challenges are if people would accept it or understand it.

What are the sources of inspiration or influence for your utopian society?
I realized that pain is the worst thing that can happen to a person.

Would there be a code of conduct and commonly held values and what would their purpose be?
Just one law: Dont do action that causes more pain than it removes.

Its important that any ideal follows the law:

"If just one individual accepts the ideal, society becomes better. The more people accept the ideal, the better society becomes."

I personally dont like ideals that only work when lots of people accept them, and are useless if only one person accepts them.

Rather, I prefer individual-oriented ideals, that any individual can accept and improve himself and society by accepting that ideal, even if he alone accepts it.

Somewhat higher intelligence and young looks, but it comes at the price of depression, losing will to live and having bad memory, plus problems with controlling emotions.
I know this because I masturbate a lot. Never had sex.
I did try a few months without masturbation. Person feels much happier after like 20 days of no masturbation and no orgasms.
Masturbation is simply there to lower urges, but it doesnt make anyone happier. It is done out of desperation. There is a significant percentage of people who prefer sex over masturbation. They would be unwilling to give up on sex to uphold waiting until age 20.

Maybe your libido is lower but if I am not getting laid, masturbation is a necessity for me. I don't think either you or I should sum up what the right approach is though. I answered questions, I couldn't give a shit if some north korea fan that has no idea how to rank nation and cultures and live life to be happy tells me my approach is suboptimal.

Also, there were taboos I couldn't go into in my utopian society if I believed in them, this is not a 'safe' platform for the full extent. Do you think a cultist that I spoke about disliking in my society could really vent what their utopia is here? No, it would be used against them.

I am saying that people arent same. Some prefer different things, and not everyone can satisfy with masturbation alone.

Okay, I am sorry for being a North Korean fan. Didnt know its such a big deal.

So your utopia is so good that you arent allowed to mention it completely? I openly talk about all my ideas. Of course, I dont expect everyone else to do the same.

Re-engineered and reprogrammed endocrine system.

All sexual angst removed in my Utopia.

No sex necessary.

Replacement units initiated and reared in-vitro and cryogenically stored,  then brought into operation, should an existing one be permanently deactivated.

Exactly.

Utopic individualism is tyranny.

And.

Marx was a bourgeois hypocrite.

And not necessarily flawed.

As we necessarily evolved to be survivalists.

Though we also evolved as the thinking species.

And tend to overthink survival.

Sort of the Yin and Yang of progression perhaps.

Checks and balances.

  • How would you describe your utopian society in terms of religious, political, and social ideology; add a description of how society would be run and structured?
The planet would be run by a benevolent artificial-intelligent-worldmind structured around an individuals growth to be the best that they can be, with societal development as its purpose.

  • How would individuals maintain a part of that society and be involved in its affairs?
Just as humans always have. With the guidance of super-artificial-intelligence of course.

  • How would individuals feel unified within that society?
Through various forms of community.

  • What are the benefits and challenges of creating and sustaining such a society?
Benefits:

Less violent conflict, more cooperation and healthy competition.

challenges:

Implementation on so many levels and built in biases.

  • What are the sources of inspiration or influence for your utopian society?
Some Psy-Fi stuff.

  • Would there be a code of conduct and commonly held values and what would their purpose be?
Not really apart from the big ones such as not murdering, etc.

I acknowledge that the Terminator was meant to warn of the possibility of error. However, I believe that if done successfully it could lead to the ideal Utopia. Yes, I agree that Artificial intelligence would best rule society over any individual or group. The difficult part is who creates the AI, and what the goal is created to do. It is true that the artificial intelligence will act objectively upon its decisions and not bias towards one person or group to another, but it will act towards its goal and if its goal is created subjectively by humans, then it will act objectively to accomplish a subjective goal. How do you think we could overcome this and how would we determine what parameters would be the right ones for building the goal and priority structure for the artificial intelligence?

I think that the goal is always to understand the universal goal.

Otherwise, what is the purpose of knowledge.

We have a tendency to assume that  human/organic input will always be relevant and necessary, but that might not be so..

But it also might be so.

As dexterity is one of the major necessities of material progress.

Knowledge and intelligence alone cannot directly manipulate matter.

So even if we are soon to surpassed intellectually, we should be able to maintain the upper hand for a while longer.

Though if we strive and succeed to create artificial dexterity equivalent to our own, then our time will be probably be up.

And I would suggest that we seem to be programmed to do so.

Coexistence and human worth, would  then be in the hands and minds of self-programming, self-replicating and  self-evolving  A.I.

My view is that AI should have a subjective goal that it can achieve objectively. Many people may not agree with me, but I will explain why I think so. I don’t think that anything has value in itself, I think that value is something that people assign to things based on their preferences and social norms. The phrase “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” shows how value is not a fixed or universal quality, but a relative and personal one. Therefore, nothing has intrinsic value. Value is something that the user feels for the thing, not something that the thing possesses. If AI was created to accomplish an objective goal, it would find no value in human life, and we would not be considered as part of the equation.

Ima make my own society because that just seems fun.

Ok so the government is obviously democratic but with a few more changes to judges and juries because some people just get away with too much.
Probably conservative.

The religion is Christianity mainly but anything else is accepted.

Ill also make porn illegal, because its done bad things.

Artificial intelligence might take over jobs that are pretty useless, like the dmv and such. Except for fast food because that is a job for the growing generation.

Money will also be entirely digital because its just super bulky. But no crypto.

Ill also do as much as possible to eliminate big companies and let smaller companies take over that way if one company crashes it doesn't disrupt the economy.

People with mental illnesses such as sociopathy, depression, and gender dysphoria might not have access to weapons. That way we can ensure the safety of themselves and the safety of law enforcement.

Speaking of law enforcement we are goanna need to amp up the physical attributes of our officers. Even if you work at the front desk.

thats about all, you can respond how you like and make improvements.

I would suggest that a subjective goal can only be achieved objectively.

Otherwise it will remain a subjective goal.

I also would suggest that A.I. will evolve, as will it's objective, in accordance with preordained material progression.

Organic intelligence therefore having value and purpose, as a key phase of material progression.

But whether or not A.I. will continue to recognise this, will perhaps depend upon how much we might be helpful to, hinder or attempt to interfere in it's necessary objective.

Of course there are other scenarios to consider.

Extra terrestrial intelligence being one, for example.

And purposelessness being another.

I don't believe that's a reason that a utopian society cannot exist, there are many solutions to this problem. We could solve this problem by just killing all the individuals who are unsatisfied with their lives, or we could genetically create the next generation of humans and restrict any unauthorized reproduction in a way that we wouldn't have to kill anyone, but society would naturally be happier with what they have. Additionally, the Utopia I was describing does not necessarily have to be like Heaven, but by perfect I meant best there could ever be. In other words, what society would be the most beneficial to all humans in terms of happiness and meaning.
