Is it okay to debate without reading opponent's case at all?

Maybe not for others, but that's not the case for me and hopefully other debaters. I can't even call that a debate anymore.

Sure, you want to win.
But my main focus here is not to win (though I do), but to debate with others opinions and argumentative responses. When people disregard that, it's not interesting. It made the whole purpose of debating the topic worthless.

When I debate a topic, i'm there to debate, not for an easy win.

My goal is to increase my debate count. I guess I have to balance out what bothers others with what bothers me.

Maybe throw in 3-4 rebuttals to just refute few important points and leave other opponent's points unrefuted.
