Instead of a leaderboard, DebateArt should have an independent psychological group rate members on their behavior.

I have noticed a number of members who seem to be borderline irrational in their comments.

It may be better to drop the leaderboard, and replace it with an independent analysis of their comments.

Borderline? If the border between rationality and irrationality was as the Mexico-USA border, then there are people snooping around the Canada-US border (insanity, delusions of persecution/grandeur/etc...).

...and it would be wonderful news if the few people on this website were the only ones. They appear less well adjusted than the average man or woman but no less irrational.

Given that...
an independent psychological group
Has very little likelihood of evaluating anyone or anything with any reliability.

Certain age groups are well known to have a propensity for irrationality.

Especially Male.

Hormones are to blame.

Can I be the independent analyst?

Maybe remove the forum post leaderboard. That means naught. But the debating leaderboard that catalogues everyone's wins and losses, nah.

What does that mean? The debating leaderboard means how experienced and how good you are, the forums leaderboard just means how much of a spammer you are over the time.

Unless there is a leaderboard for like/post ratio.

I don't blame "hormones".

I blame the failure of the US educational system.

Here is a good example:

A local news outlet reported on a story. The story did not make any sense. They missed reporting on the cause that was at the root of the story. So I contacted them and they "updated" their report.

How did the story get released without being complete?

I think a report on your psyche would be predictable and narcissistic tendencies would be present.

If that is an insult, perhaps consider a fatal flaw of what you seek... what is positive in one context is negative in another.

You seek the only leaderboard you think would prove others inferior to you here as the current ones rank you low.

Feeling above the rest of us is a feeling, not a conclusion or fact. Ask yourself why the LB affects you at all and then ask a therapist. Let us know your psyche's evaluation. Did it come with a score to rank you?

I wouldn't agree.

Some would seemingly fail the system and some would seemingly make a success of the system.

Which would suggest that failure or success relative to a system that undoubtedly provides opportunity, is down to the individual.

Which would further suggest that other influences outside the system play a greater role in educational success or failure.

Maybe the rationality of the comments on DebateArt would improve if members were held to a higher psychological quotient ( PQ ) .

When I was at MIT I took a  Positive Intelligence Quotient test. My score was 100.  How is that?

I actually did work on the Manhattan Project. Well, it was actually the FlashDancers Gentlemen's Club in downtown Manhattan project.

Why don't you make a thread of it, link us to the URL of a free but still good one?

I personally think too much optimism is toxic, stupid and unhealthy so I am not expecting a very high score but I do have good mental self-reassurement.

I took a test that emails me and got different sabeteur scores across 9 types.

It didn't give an overall out of 100. I think this test is out of 90 as the scores were out of 10. Since the scores are so detailed, i'd rather keep the results to myself.

Here is the test, you need to give a name, age, gender and employment status but only the name is forced, and you can give a fake name.

What would be the goal of this? If ppl are acting up, wouldn't it obvious ?

The idea that this forum could afford to pay independent psychological experts to perform psychological reviews here is utterly laughable

Would that laugh be such that would require a psychological review?

If it were obvious,  the  independent psychological group would not be needed.

It is obviously not obvious to the persons in need of the  independent psychological group.
