I'm glad this site popped up. I'm seeing some people like Danielle again that i haven't seen a post from in awhile until very recently on DDO in the hangout thread. That we're getting old guard members trickling in is solid AF news.

I also think a tendency to believe picking and choosing aspects of an ideology still constitutes as being that ideology has alot to do with this issue of not reflecting. For example, being a "socialist" who doesn't want total control of industry and markets. Well then you aren't a socialist anymore... adjust your terminology accordingly.
As well as the general propensity to take the path of least resistance. Its alot easier to come up with some basic observations and leave it at that, as opposed to really getting down to brass tacks and examining minute details of belief that easily can highlight inconsistencies in ones ideology.
Like for example abortion. Im not all too religious, I was for a long time pro-choice based off of reasoning in regards to bodily autonomy, and the like. Im not pro-choice anymore cause i started examining what constitutes a fetus as alive. And started realizing whatever metric I used to consider the fetus as not alive, also in turn to maintain consistency, would mean I would have to hold groups that are considered alive, as not 🤔
Ex: its a clump of cells > we're all basically just a clump of cells
They're not conscious > neither are the comatose
And so on and so forth down the line 🤔

Maximum was prolly the wrong term, *maximize* would be more accurate fmpov because maximize implies not actually being maximum. Rather you get as close as feasibly possible, while still limiting certain absurd freedoms, like say freedom to kill, freedom to steal, freedom to rape, etc.

10 Nimitz Class Carriers and 9 Wasp Class Carriers that each have their own complementary fleets, and battalions of infantry. All 19 prepares to remain self-sufficient for month should shit hit the fan like proposed. AC's are kings of the seas, period. And if you dont want to see a majority of your trade dissapear overnight, its best not to piss off the country that has a stranglehold on the worlds waterways 😏
Created:

Tale of the tape on military strength(particularly naval) still overwhelmingly favors the US. China has 1 Soviet Era Carrier and working on 1 modern one similar to the Nimitz class that is being phased out of the US Navy already in favor of the Gerald R Ford class carrier.
Not to mention China is heading right off the cliff for an economic downturn. Their population growth is at .5% and dropping still. Population growth and economic growth is linked AF, its one of the primary factors in economic growth after all.
On top of that, China does have the trade route agenda, but the US already has that in place navally, and 90% of trade goes through waterways still. For China to make a dent in that influence they would have to make it cheaper to transport trade goods over mostly land.... Good luck with that one 😂.
Not to mention, China has no plans on making trade free and fair as the US does with pursuit of zero-subsidy zero tariff trade policies. Nor does it charge access to trade routes, nor does it have the intention to ever do something like that as again, the agenda is zero-tariff zero-subsidy trade.
For good example of how China still isnt close to the US, the recent trade war. They are hurting themselves more than its hurting the US. For example in soybeans. The US accounts for 40% of soybean imports, and their other main supplier, Brazil, cannot cover that amount. That leaves China short eventually on a vital component of their populations food consumption.
Meanwhile, the EU has already agreed to purchase what China does not during this spat as a part of the in principle agreement for zero-tariff zero-subsidy trade. On top of that as has been pointed out, China is still dependent AF on exporting manufactured goods to other countries, mainly the US. And as was pointed out, if the US really wanted to take off the kid gloves, we can cut off all Chinese imports and watch as they burn 🤔.
But beyond that, say China wants to invade Taiwan, have y'all never heard of a naval blockade? They do that, the US sets up a naval blockade, cuts off most of their trade, and watches as they starve to death. It appears y'all are gravely underestimating how tightly the US has a hold on the globes balls 😏

Say Person X says Person Y commited Z crime on FB. No exemption means Person Y sues FB, not person X, as the publisher assumes all responsibility for libelous content they publish.
Now imagine how much libelous content gets posted by individuals on FB on the daily. Then start tacking on tens of thousands+ for each suit. It would be utter disaster 🤔

@Earth
Bruh, the drop in value was like same timeframe to them coming out and announcing they would proactively be removing content they deemed aa fake news.
I agree that FB isnt as good as it was, but this kind of development is not going to have zero affect on investors decision making. It would be lunacy for it to not, FB and YT are literally running straight at a wall of libel suits. Investors see this, theyre jumping ship. And the closer FB and YT get to that wall, the more people will start to jump 🤔.
No exemption means FB and YT themselves shell out for libel suits. This is for anyone, individual or independent content company. You really trying to say this is having zero effect on the value of the companies? I would disagree cause that flies in the face of investment strategy 🤔

Like everywhere, not just the US. They recieved the same exemptions in the EU, UK, etc. This isnt just a US thing, this is international in scope, the size of the cat they let out of the bag
Created:
Posted in:
Given the scope of these platforms, you can imagine the flood of libel suits waiting for that exemption to be removed. If that floodgate gets opened, FB and YT plummet in value. Why do you think FB stock plummeted so much recently? Stockholders are starting to abandon ship cause they see the hammer coming 😂
Created:
Posted in:
YT has that same liability exemption. But if you want to moderate content to the extent they are trying to, they cant be considered open platforms. The hammers coming for them, i dont see how they are going to avoid it unless they stop immediately.
But if they don't, YT, FB, social media sites that claim open platform exemption that make the decision to remove fake news and the like, are not operating as open platforms therefore should not be exempt from libel laws as they pertain to publishers

Itunes is considered a publisher tho? And if those tech companies fell under that special priviledge, they exempted themselves from that special priviledge by breaking the condition of it 🤔

Uh, by law they would be reasonable. Again, YT and other social media platforms were given special priviledge to not be considered publishers on the condition they would maintain open platforms

Whoops, *YT* but FB has removed Jones's content as well if i recall correctly? Jones would have a solid case if he argued in court what i just mentioned. He will prob just center his case around the first amendment tho, which isnt going to get him anywhere

@Earth
It means Facebook acted as a publisher would. They were given special priviledge of not being considered as such due to it being an open platform. However, upon doing this, which FB absolutely can, but it means they are opening up the door to a flood of libel suits for libelous and defamatory posts made on the site by users.

Yeah, little fun fact there. The US Navy only has 10 ships it classifies as an aircraft carrier(Nimitz class). But 9 other "Wasp" class ships that we don't count as carriers. Despite being 45k ton, aircraft carrying, warships 😂. Just not big enough i guess 😂😂

China's about to run head first into a brick wall created by its own population control attempt. Grats, it worked, but too well.
As for the Carriers, last I checked, one soviet Era Carrier, and one modern one(similar to the Nimitz Class, which is already in the process of being phased out by the US Navy) being developed to be finished at some point in the future. That doesn't really scream "naval prowress".
Like, 19(10 Nimitz class, 9 others that would classify as AC's in other navies, but we dont cause they're like, just so much smaller 😂 )>2... I'll take those odds 😂

1. Ok so i said South instead of North. Whew lad, you got what I meant.
2. You do realize agreed to in principle means the general terms are agreed to? Like, they're on board with zero-tariff, zero-subsidy. They laid everything out on the table and went, "let's do this". That's not an official agreement, but that means a hell of alot. You can view it pessimistically if you want, I see it as a massive step in the right direction.
3. China is losing in the trade war. Let them expand into Africa. They'll get the hate for the exploitation. South Asia? Yeah, China has been getting cheeky with the South China Sea in trying to establish control so they can eventually try to seize control of the vital trade route located there.
I'll be concerned when they're sporting more than a single Soviet Era Carrier. Tell me, how well do you think the upcoming population growth issues brought by the One Child Policy are going to go over for China economically? It's already only at .5% and it's not going to get better.
Population growth of course being one if the primary factors in....economic growth 🤔.

>South Korea is actually denuclearizing
>The EU has agreed in principle to zero-tariff zero-subsidy trade
>Also in that same deal the EU has agreed to route all future purchasing of natural gas, and some current, through us. Something the EU purchases predominantly from Russia. This is a huge blow to Russias influence in the EU, and their economy. It will weaken their position quite a bit in any negotiations.
>China is losing. They are running out of soybeans and cant find anyone else to buy from. Meanwhile, the EU again, agreed to replace this loss of purchase from China. How long do you think its gonna be before Jingping comes to the table cause they're running low on food? I would bet not too long considering we account for 40% of their soybean imports and they rely pretty heavily on soybeans for food to eat such as tofu 🤔
Hes slam dunking on foreign policy, like no joke. I had zero issues lauding Obama for ramping up oil production to squeeze OPEC. I'm gonna have zero issues lauding Trump for sticking it to our geopolitical foes, and getting at least one of our allies so far to come to the table on a trade deal thats been slow-cooking in the burner as the ultimate goal of US trade since the 50's(The Global-Liberal Agenda). Our allies know this, they were all for the vision too, until they started living high off the hog on favorable trade policies intended to help them *until* they were up to snuff on pushing the pedal to the floor on free trade.

Cause I'll tell you what, Marx spent alot of time establishing the proletariat as inherently superior to the bourgeois 🤔, and establishing the bourgeois as subhuman.
Shall we hold Marx as Right-Wing now? After all, he was quite the supremacist when it came to class(income) identity. So much so that he wasn't at all meek about proclaiming that the bourgeois all had to die in a violent revolution 🤔
Noooooo, obviously he thought the bourgeois were totes people and not at all subhuman. Totally wasn't advocating for genocide with that whole violent revolution bit...
Genocide- the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation.
Oh, it says especially, this must mean like an ideology it has to be a specific ethnic group or nation.
Especially- used to single out one person, thing, or situation over all others
Oh wait, its just singling out a few examples, there are still others that dont align with those specific examples. Unlike characterize, where the supplied aspects were meant to specifically distinguish the ideology of facism from other ideologies.
Again, words have meanings, as much as that sucks because that inherently limits the ability to obfuscate discussion 😤

"Fascism is characterised by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce, but you can't say that it has exactly these facets and no more or less"
characteristics can't be used to differentiate. Spicy take man 🤔
Characterize- describe the distinctive nature or features of.
Distinctive- characteristic of one person or thing, and so serving to distinguish it from others.
"Defining it as its exemplars is the logical equivalent of saying a person from Africa must be black and no other colour. It's fallacious"
What you just gave was indeed a fallacy because of what it's talking about. Ideologies are not some sort of "I get to make it whatever i want and still call it the same". Ideologies are specific sets of ideas and ideals that are only true if they adhere to those ideas/ideals. If not then you lose the entire basis for even holding ideologies mean anything to begin with.
You prolly are thinking that Facism is some umbrella term like "Christianity" is to all the seperate ideologies contained therein(Catholicism, Lutheranism, etc.). Its not, Authoritarian/Totalitarian is the umbrella term for all the ideologies that fall under that range(Such as Facism) Facism is itself a specific ideology with a specific set of ideas/ideals. Not adhering to one of the core aspects makes you not a Facist, even if still authoritarian and/or ultranationalist. Quasi-facist, semi-facist, milk-toast facist, whatever you want to call someone who picks and chooses but still wants to carry the name. Are not actually Facist.
No, words cannot mean whatever you want them to. And yes, some types of words require adherence to a specific set of characteristics to be actually held as that term.
Btw, "Right-Wing Supremacy"
Go ahead and elaborate, why are they right wing? Is it the supremacy part? Is that the truly differentiating characteristic to you? A vocal view of being one identity group being inherently superior than another?
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@Smithereens
Fascism- a form of radical authoritarianism(its totalitarian, but the terms are generally syllogous anyways), ultranationalism(heres the identitarianism), characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce.
Take away the "ultranationalist" in that and you have the description of socialism... Again, Gentile looked at Marxist theory and went, "that's batshit, people won't willingly do that, they need to be forced to, be subjugated entirely and completely by, the state, for that to happen. Gentile was literally a tanky before Stalin was even born 🤔.
Tell me, would you propose we define Stalin as right wing? 🤔 It would only be consistent

Of mafia games? Not a bad idea once we get some games under the belt here 🤔. I assume you'll model it after the DDO archives?
Created:

It is:
-Socialist(collectivist and communitarian)
-Identitarian(Nationality)
- Totalitarian(as socialist governance requires)
Being radical has nothing to do with it, has everything to do with that Gentile ripped parts of Marx and then went, "but his Socialism is wrong" and crafted what he saw was a better form of it. Mainly because Gentile thought Marx's vision of a Communist utopia was absurd and unrealistic. Rather, that utopia would only be possible if predicated upon national identity and not just economic class. 🤔
Again, you focus purely on the National Identity, go, "right wing has nationalism too" and go, "that makes Facists right wing!" Ignoring that Facism isnt just nationalism, it incorporates Socialism as well and heavily draws influence from the communitarian vision of Marx. But surrreeee, its not left-wing 😏
You keep telling yourself that Mr. "Facist" but you'd get the bullet from actual Facists all the same. Methinks you take the, "all that matters for a Facist is he remember he is a Facist" all too seriously considering milk-toast facists got the bullet under Mussolini too 😏
Created:
Posted in:
Idk, the whole Gentile and Mussolini(whom Gentile ghostwrote for) being outspoken advocates of not just national socialism, but total and complete subordination to the state might have something to do with it. 🤔
Sorry man, Socialism is socialism, and Socialism is inherently collectivist and communitarian, placing the "national" in front if it doesn't change a damn thing. Can see why Facists flocked away from the left though, considering Gentile was shot to death by Communists 😂. And thus we see, the lefts cannibalization is not something new 😏
Again, Facism as the original vision would hold, is Socialist.
Created:
Posted in:
Which is nonsense, maybe read the creator of your ideology and understand you hold more in common with socialists and identitarians, which you should be on board with as a Facist.
"Certain" doesn't mean all. You look at the nationalist aspect of right wing politics, and shoot yourself in the foot because right wingers despise Socialism. Which again, being a Facist, you should be. Otherwise, i fail to see how you can call yourself a Facist of anything other than the milk-toast, weak AF variety who just likes totalitarianism.

No, liberal =\= facist. But left doesn't always equal liberal either.
Facism is a left wing ideology, never said it was liberal. Socialism isnt liberal, national-identitarianism isnt liberal, totalitarianism isnt liberal.
So no, i wasnt saying liberals were facists. But dems aren't really all too liberal anymore. Wheres the focus on free speech? Individual sovereignty? Rule of law based on natural rights?
Its not anywhere to be found and has been replaced with Socialism, idpol, and a slow abandonment of free speech. Doesn't sound all too liberal anymore, now does it?

Hrmmmm, 400k to 300k 50% does not make. But even so, it dropped from like 460k to 330k from 14 to 15. So a 100k drop could easily be in the realm of "natural" fluctuation.
Ok, well. Not sure what that says, that families are still coming knowing full well we're gonna intake, detain, and deport a majority of the time. Like i said, Chile is safer, and for awhile Chile was quite welcoming to migrants.
Perhaps their recent shift towards a more hardline immigration policy might have to do with these rising numbers. Chiles turning them away, they come here.
We'll always get Mexican immigrants in droves just cause of vicinity 🤔. But that's vastly economic migrancy.
And that still fails to establish why the US should be the ones having to foot that burden. Especially when it comes with remittances that send money out of our economy, into others. Not terrible, but when it starts getting up to the tune of say 27billion to Mexico, we can't really be too surprised that income inequality in the US is rising. Money that would be going to citizen laborers, gets sent out. This only hurts working class americans. Upper middle and upper class aren't gonna be too damaged by that money spent on laborer positions, leaving. Especially if it goes hand in hand with depressing wages in general due to increased demand to low skilled positions and a lowering supply of those jobs.
This whole stance of the world first, America second is farcical. The rest of the world doesnt operate that way, and the more we do, the more we lose. 🤔
