@RationalMadman
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of those sites. I was contemplating Discord, but had the same concerns over players having to attach an identity.
Chatzy definitely looks like a more than suitable alternative to use in the interim. 🤔

There's that "differentiating between two things via shared characharacteristics" again
I see its quite the popular spicy take, like Mikes Red Hot, people here are throwing that sh$t on everything 😏

The present, I mean, who knows what the future holds, and "comfortably" is relative lol. To me present day modernized countries are a testament to human innovation, and any citizens of those nations have it better than pretty much any other point in the past 🤔

I accept that deal, the likelihood of say, being trapped with no escape would still be relatively minimal. I would have to give where/when some more thought, but that suitably addresses the major concerns fmpov 🤔

Im sorry, what set of laws was being violated at the time again? Viewing history through the lens of present conditions is a rather obtuse lens to view history through, and ignores that in the future, much of what is thought today, as any other point in history, will be viewed as ignorant and naive.

You know, that's actually really compelling, the view that whether Facism would be right or left is a matter of convenience. Def give that some thought 🤔

Yeah, credentials are still important. I cant help but feel the system could be tweaked to where its not as expensive to obtain those credentials. Like for example, it may be preferable someone to have gone through 4-8 years taking approved courses so you get a good foundation to build a specialization on.
But i cant help but think, if someone can come in and drop an amazing thesis paper down on a specific field of study and could verify they have shit down pat through testing, we should reasonably do away with the process and give them the recognition of credentials as they have proved they are deserving of them 🤔

Exactly, although remove the "specific actors" the actors can change, the ideas/ideals cannot.
im not saying you cant say like, "Facistic" which would imply shared characteristics, but not total adherence. But when one says "Facist" or "Facism" you are referring to a specific ideology that has a specific set of ideas/ideals. Almost all are shared with one or another ideology, but there isnt another ideology that shares *all* characteristics and therefore it is *distinct* from other ideologies.
If there is a differentiation, that differentiation has to be stated as one is no longer speaking of the same thing. This is for example, why Communism and Facism share ALOT of characteristics. But communists still despise facists becauae of the crucial differentiation to the end game. Communists dont want a state ultimately, Facists want total state control ultimately. At least in that specific aspect. Communists view everything through the lens of poor v rich. Facists view it through the lens of poor v rich, BUT add the qualifier of only those poor who are native citizens.
This would be exactly the reason why Gentile was shot to death by Communists, despite holding many shared beliefs with them 🤔
They both still want total control, but Facists want to bring that about via the state and elimination of all opposition, Communists want to bring that about via violent revolution that disbands the state but still involves the elimination of anyone who opposes it. Something they hold would make the necessity of a state null and void.
For example, Nazi Germany and Italy circa Mussolini were by every metric Facists. Hitler based it on Germanic descent, Mussolini based it on Italian descent.
This would be why we label Nazi's nowadays "Neo-Nazi's" because they've dropped the nationalism and base it off of European(White) descent as a whole. They can't be held as Nazi's. Nor can they be held as Facist. They do however share many characteristics with both, hence the label "Neo-Nazi" to indicate they share alot with it, but still distinctly differentiate from it.
I just like the "Right-Wing Supremacy" thing. Listen to Richard Spencer speak for awhile, he sounds like an SJW progressive. But instead of being all about disliking whites, its all about lovin him some whiteness and disliking everyone else 🤔.
Richard Spencer- "party? Party is just a vessel"
Sure it is, you keep telling yourself that Mr. "Alt-Right" 😂😂😂

Which is just grand imho. Like, as days go by ive noticed I'm encountering less and less people that couldnt give an expert level opinion on at least one field of study regardless of whether they have a degree or not. That's beautiful AF to me and makes me super hopeful about the future in terms of when I'm already dead and gone

This is true, but universities are really losing their stranglehold on higher education. Some smartest people ive met are High School educated but they just consume all kinds of knowledge. Like i met this Truck Driver once, who just talked for hours specifically about Napoleonic Warfare and different battles, strategies, etc. and i was like, "holy shit, you should write a book 😮"
Theres a great thirst for knowledge out there, and the internet and other forms of media are really starting to allow those who cant afford to go, to continue educating themselves to a really fine extent 🤔

I would even go so far as to say only non-combat work. You absolutely do need intelligence in combat. Plus, using the dumb as bullet fodder is just reprehensible morally fmpov, even if actually not that bad strategically 🤔

@Swagnarok
The military would have little issue filling its ranks if it relaxed intelligence standards for gruntwork. As it stands the US military arbitrarily sets it at what, 80 I think, when its like, no, you don't need to be that smart to clean latrines, transport equipment, and other similar grunt work positions.
Created:
This is true, environment also plays a large factor. Wasn't trying to say it didn't, just that lowering intelligence purposefully should see at minimum a slight corresponding rise to birthrates 🤔.
A much more effective measure would be making having a family more affordable, incentivizing dual parent households, and I would say also, perhaps offering additional tax credits for children, but keeping the credit lower for single parent homes.
Money is after all, quite the incentive

This is how it works when it comes to ideologies:
ideologies are *specific* sets of ideas/ideals. If you differ from one, you can no longer hold yourself as adhering to it.
"But Facist is an umbrella term"
No, its freaking not. Its a specific set of ideas/ideals. Authoritarian/Totalitarian is the umbrella terms "Facist" is categorized under.
Much like Christianity is the umbrella term for belief in Christ as the Messiah. But under that umbrella you have a boatload of specific ideologies that either greatly differentiate, or minutely differentiate. But regardless of scope of differentiation, you cant hold an ideology as the same unless it's specifically applies. This is for example why Calvinism and Lutheranism exist, despite only differentiating on the relatively minor aspect of "who gets into heaven and why". Lutheran's hold anyone can, Calvinist ls believe its predetermined. Thats the only difference, but yet .the are held are still held as two *distinct* and *seperate* ideologies depsite both being a sect of Christianity

@triangle.128k
Those conservative values are in family. But in Facism the state, is the family unit. In conservatism the family unit, is the family...
>The State as the family unit
>The family as the family unit
These two values do not mesh at all well. Beyond that, no you didn't establish Facism as an umbrella terms. You just pointed out that so labeled "Facist" states varied in economic policy. But again, as established before, variations from an ideology constitute as not being that ideology anymore.
I didn't address your point because you are still holding that differentiation in ideological characteristics = the same ideology. As established, the characteristics are as such so as to be able to distinguish the ideology apart from others.(I really hate repeating myself).
You call me out for not addressing what you said, meanwhile you in the same breadth completely ignore the linguistic point being made, as if the structure of language, and the morphology and lexicology contained therein doesn't matter. When it does, as much as you may want to attribute whatever meaning you want to words, *that's not how language works*
And as much as you may not want it to be the case, when you differentiate Facism between Syndicalism and Corporatism, only one would be Facist as properly defined. The other would be a variation that would necessitate a differentiating term so as to *distinguish* the two apart. Again, call a horse a duck all you want, at the end of the day its still a duck. And no amount of twisting of language is going to change the characteristics of either a duck or a horse so they can be defined as being one and the same.

@triangle.128k
Ur using Facist as an umbrella term, its not. Its a specific ideology that fits within the umbrella of Authoritarianism/Totalitarianism.
Again, so sorry that words have meaning and some have specific characteristics that distinguish them apart from others 😏
Syndicalism-based Fascism such as that of Fascist Spain. Fascist Italy went with a more Capitalistic variant - Corporatism.
>Capitalist
>Total control of industry and commerce
Lol, keep calling a duck a horse, at the end of the day, its still going to be a horse. Capitalism is a system based upon voluntary exchanges. Total state control =\= voluntary 🤔
Your attempts to destroy crucial aspects of linguistics, particularly in the area of lexicology and morphology are absurd. By yours and smithereens arguments, you are using characteristics that apply to left and right wing as a means to differentiate.
But that's the crux, differentiation requires characteristics to be *different* and distinguishable. Else your differentiations are shallow and empty of meaning.

Statistically speaking sooner or later I would get trapped somehow and spend eternity as a prisoner slowly going mad.
This, plus you would end up mad from watching anyone you get attached to dying and there's nothing you can do about it. Eventually the passage of time would be so vast that really, one would probably stop viewing the passage of time minutely. Like for example, months would veconeblike seconds, years like month, centuries like years, etc .
Living forever would be a nightmare fmpov
