It was not, seeing as we were the only thing propping them up and now they cannot stand on their own two feet. Now they are one of the most hated groups in the region, as we used them to undermine and destroy two stable regimes.

As I already linked, CIA interventions into Syria were directly aimed at weakening government forces. Assad is an ally of Russia, and we launched multiple efforts to undermine Russian allies in the Middle East during this period (most famously, in Libya).

Also let me point out that even if the bible contains some passages that with some artistic licence could arguably be referring to modern scientific discoveries this does not in itself tell us how this information got there. Its mere presence in a book does not prove the source of the information or the book though it might make claims about said sources.
Really then there would have been chanches of thos claims being wrong, but there isnt any??

Well yeah pretty much AND YOU cant change it,no one will, leave it aloneThe Religion Forums thrive on Drama, they actually need it to feel alive. They are fundamentally different to the crowd of the other forums. They do not just fight out of vindictive nature, they mutually get off on it at times. I know this is true because often it will go on for weeks with neither party reporting the other until it escalates so far that everyone around feels 'disgusted' by what is going on and reports on the other 2's behalf (they report both). This then gets both banned, they scream about the other user being worse and both accuse the mods of being corrupt for atheists, religious people or 'their buddies' etc. They either return or run off to DDO or DebateIsland to shitpost in their own ways there. DI is less tolerant of such posting though, but it is much more accepting of passive-aggressive winding up and this is a big problem in the society there.

The Bible has got space and the universe correct time and time again,even going against current scientific theories at the time. There is massive credit that needs to be given to the Bible. They are lots of examples. Let’s take Isaiah 40:22 for example which states-”It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:.”Ths description is fitting, the Earth is a circle viewed from the heavens and space. Today we know that the Earth is Round, Satellite images from NASA has confirmed this fact as well as the Biblical quoteFurthermore, Ancient Scientists and well rounded educated people after the 6th Century B.C(599-500) thought the Earth was round with Pythagoras, who was followed by Aristotle, Euclid, and Aristarchus, among others in observing that the earth was a sphere.However, the Book of Isaiah was written in the 8th Century BC making it the first historical account which talked about a round Earth.[LINK],[LINK],[LINK]
The Bible also says that the Earth floats in space on nothing. Consider Job 26:7 which states:”He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.”We now know today that yes, the Earth does hang on nothing. RationalMadman: Now that you both are in the mindstate for it, it's time you hand me the reigns and as for the issue Dr. Franklin mentioned, the solution is to have a rehabilitation and reward program to, much like HoF, celebrate great quality posters there. Not just from likes on posts, something like congratulating people with really interesting topics that get lots of posts and things like that. When everyone is constantly happy and buzzing about whatever good things happen, the toxic trolls will become either so blatant and brutal that no one revolts against us for banning them or settle in and join in the harmony.
