When light passes through some mediums, such as water, it slows down considerably. In the case of diamond, its speed is cut by over 50 per cent. But according to Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity, the speed of light in the vaccum of empty space is said to be the same for all observers, at just short of 300,000km/s.
This is undoubtedly weird, as every other speed is measured relative to something else. For example, a train can move at 150km/h relative to someone on a platform, but to the train’s passengers its speed is pretty much zero. The speed of light is no ordinary speed, however: it’s a universal constant that emerges from the laws of physics.
Specifically, it’s the speed at which electromagnetic waves travel through the vacuum of space – and its value can be predicted by equations unifying our understanding of electricity and magnetism, as discovered over 150 years ago by the Scottish physicist and mathematician James Clerk Maxwell.

This is the Jesus I am talking about. Maybe it is the Gnostic Jesus. Jesus was perfectly selfless in everything He did. Flowing unceasingly from Him, kindness was His lifestyle. He took notice for the cause of the needy, intentionally and consistently seeking them out, even when He was tired and weary. Without partiality, He was kind to everyone, even if they didn't “deserve” it.

We are indeed like Gods.
I would like to point out that not all Humans are like Gods. The Humans that are like Gods are those that are like Jesus. As I have said in a previous topic there is Worm Man and Intelligent Man. Intelligent Man is like Jesus because intelligence usually goes hand in hand also with empathy, ethical values and dignity. IQ and EQ usually go hand in hand.
The reason is simple. Highly intelligent people are able to analyze their thoughts and emotions, they are able to perceive the same effects on others and they are able to imagine how the other person might feel. Low IQ people tend to be rude, impolite and emotionally dulled. They seldom also develop higher ethical levels than 2 or 3 on Kohlberg’s scale.

Yes, just the the other day I told myself that I am God. This concept of God can be described as anthropomorphic. That is to say, God is a being like ourselves in the fundamental respect that we are both – God and ourselves - persons. But whereas we are finite, created, dependent persons, God is an infinite, eternal, uncreated and omnipotent Person. Some theologians, uncomfortable with such an explicitly anthropomorphic characterization, say that God is not a person, but rather is personal. But this is a distinction without a difference. We cannot conceive of a personal being who is not a person. And we know what a person is only because we are ourselves persons. God, then, is like us – or rather we are like God – in this very basic respect.

Yes, in a critique of Craig's book The Kalam Cosmological Argument, published in 1979, Michael Martin states:[
"It should be obvious that Craig's conclusion that a single personal agent created the universe is a non sequiter. At most, this Kalam argument shows that some personal agent or agents created the universe. Craig cannot validly conclude that a single agent is the creator. On the contrary, for all he shows, there may have been trillions of personal agents involved in the creation."
Martin also claims that Craig has not justified his claim of creation "ex nihilo", pointing out that the universe may have been created from pre-existing material in a timeless or eternal state. Moreover, that Craig takes his argument too far beyond what his premises allow in deducing that the creating agent is greater than the universe. For this, he cites the example of a parent "creating" a child who eventually becomes greater than he or she.

The earthworms use touch to communicate and influence each other's behaviour, so do Mormon's.
In Mormon Temple Ceremony, every person learns certain secret handshakes and passwords necessary for them to enter heaven. Mormons learn about through staffing ceremonies, but most LDS members are not worthy of the temple. One of these ordinances is known as “the endowment” and consists mainly of theological instruction interspersed with the making of specific covenants. As part of this ordinance, Latter-day Saints are taught a series of challenge/response signs, including hand signals (“secret handshakes”) and spoken phrases, which are symbolic of Christ’s sacrifice the covenants being made.

Earthworms form herds and make "group decisions", scientists have discovered.
The earthworms use touch to communicate and influence each other's behaviour, according to research published in the journal Ethology.
By doing so the worms collectively decide to travel in the same direction as part of a single herd.

The men who wrote the Bible claimed Mary submitted obediently when she became the Mother of God. That does not mean she was not raped. She was raped because she could not possibly have consented. The Biblical narrative makes it clear Mary was afraid. She had no idea what the consequences would be for refusing her assigned role as Mother of God. Consent to impregnation presumes a relationship of equals which cannot possibly be presumed between a young teen girl and an omnipotent Father God. There was an enormous difference in power. The youngest age of consent in the United States is 16, and an eternal Father God would not pass for an age-gap exception to United States statutory rape laws.

The first religious icon to be used in vampire lore is Lilith. According to the Talmud and Hebrew lore, Lilith was Adam’s first wife. Adam and Lilith were the first couple made by God as complete equals from dust. One day while having sex Lilith refused to “lie on the bottom” and wanted a more dominant role. When Adam would not allow it, she cursed God and flew from Eden. The story continues with Lilith procreating with demons and multiplying at a rate of 100 children a day. As a result of her populating the world with half demons, God sent three angels to bring Lilith back to Eden. Lilith cursed the angels and refused their requests. As a result the angels began to kill one hundred of Lilith’s children for each day that she refused to return. This angered Lilith that once again she was being forced to submit to men that she refused and began to kill human children by biting and drinking their blood. (Rappaport, 1989) From here the legend of Lilith travelled through the Hebrew oral traditions where she was blamed for miscarriages as well as sudden infant death syndrome. As protection from Lilith, Hebrew mothers would sing lullabies and would hang an amulet over the baby’s crib that pictured the three angels that attempted to return Lilith to the Garden of Eden. As a result of superstition, she became a tool of fear among women rather than a role model for female empowerment.

Religious and spiritual experiences are neurologically similar to the euphoria of love and of drug-taking, a team of neuroscientists has concluded.
The team, led by a University of Utah neuroradiologist Jeffrey Anderson, found that in a group of 19 young Mormons, the same reward-based neural systems associated with drug-taking were activated when the individuals were “feeling the spirit”. Specifically, the nucleus accumbens was repeatedly activated, an area of the brain that is key to the circuit of reward and reinforcement.

The research may be the start of an intriguing line of study into religiously-motivated behaviours of all kinds. In an interview with CNN, Anderson pointed out it was first study to show the link with our brain’s reward system, and is a stepping stone to exploring all kinds of religiously-motivated behaviours.

Yes, there Is evidence that a planet in our solar system was destroyed. An asteroid that slammed into the Sudan desert on Oct. 7, 2008, shot out lots of little space rocks holding a precious secret: diamonds that likely formed billions of years ago inside the embryo of a now-decimated planet.
That lost planet was the size of Mercury or perhaps Mars, researchers now say.

Overall, MRI scans revealed the presence of any brain lesion in 39.3 percent of the men and 24.6 percent of the women. In ancient times it was people with brain lesion that saw and talked to a God. They are the ones that invented all religions. Since people didn't know science back then they thought what those people said were true.

This is from a previous post of mine on another topic.
Stupid people are more likely than eggheads to believe in God, a new study claims.
In a move that is bound to offend millions of churchgoers, a British psychologist says he has found a link between having a high IQ and being an atheist.
The study came from Prof Richard Lynn - a retired academic at the University of Ulster who has courted controversy in the past with studies looking at sex, race and intelligence.
His latest work, published in the scientific journal Intelligence, compared religious belief and average national IQs in 137 countries.
Prof Lynn found that in only 17 per cent of countries did the proportion of people who believe in God fall below 80 per cent.
'These are virtually all the higher IQ countries,' he said
Prof Lynn said a survey of fellows of the Royal Society - Britain's science academy - found that only 3.3 per cent believed in God at a time when nearly 70 per cent of Britons described themselves as having a faith.
I am sure Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk would agree with him. I am sure EtrnlVW and Jim Bakker would disagree with him.

I’m a King James-only preacher and that’s the bottom line because Jesus said so. You can read the King James Version of the Holy Bible by clicking on the link.

Because I am highly intelligent, I am more moral than the average stupid person (Trump voter).
Psychological and neuroscience research both tell us that morality, our mental ability to tell right from wrong in our behaviors and the behaviors of others, is a product of evolution. Morality has been passed on through the course of evolution because it helps us to live in large social groups by enhancing our ability to get along and interact with others. “Building blocks” of morality, such as sensing fairness, experiencing empathy, and judging others’ harmful and helpful actions, can be observed in infancy, before a child’s social environment would be able to have a strong influence. Specific parts of the human brain are involved in moral reasoning – both the kind that happens very quickly and the kind that is thought out. Damage to certain parts of the brain can dramatically alter moral judgment and behavior. Although human morality has been passed down through evolution, it is also dependent on the culture in which we grow up. What humans consider to be moral behavior varies from culture to culture and also varies across time.

Drew Weissman, MD, PhD, a professor of Infectious Diseases in the Perelman School of Medicine, and Katalin Karikó, PhD, an adjunct associate professor at Penn and a senior vice president at BioNTech, found that mRNA vaccines can not only prompt strong antibody responses to fight off invaders, like COVID-19, but also potent cytotoxic T cell responses.
That’s important because these T cells can kill cancer cells. They just need to be altered or motivated to do it. Think immunotherapy, like checkpoint inhibitors or chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy that engineers a patient’s own T cells to find and destroy cancer cells.
“A successful therapeutic cancer vaccine should induce strong T cell responses, particularly with CD8+ T cells, which have a known capacity to kill malignant cells,” said Pardi, who is currently leading studies to better understand mRNA vaccines to treat cancers, along with other diseases. Pardi was also a postdoctoral researcher in Weissman’s lab and a frequent collaborator with him and Karikó. “Therapeutic cancer vaccines would be given to cancer patients with the hope that those vaccine-induced cytotoxic T cells would clear tumor cells.”
One example is an mRNA vaccine that targets proteins called neoantigens on a tumor to fight it. A neoantigen is a new protein that forms on cancer cells when certain mutations occur in tumor DNA.
“It’s a promising group of cancer antigens to keep exploring,” Weissman said

But, regardless, a news release from DeSantis’s office Wednesday said: “Florida Reaches Lowest Case Rate in the Nation.” Given that infections confer immunity at least for a while, this is a bit like boasting that your forest hasn’t caught fire since your recent forest fire.
For months, DeSantis has tried to balance his opposition to coronavirus containment measures — best exemplified with his anti-Anthony S. Fauci campaign merchandise — with his need to actually try to keep Floridians alive. During the summer, he invested far more energy in treatments for those who’d contracted the virus than promoting vaccinations that would reduce the number of people who caught it in the first place. And so on Thursday, he didn’t just take a victory lap for his state finally not being a hotbed of new infections, he tried to dunk on those who’d recommended leaders do more to combat the virus.

Actually, you should see the video: The Ancient Anunnaki Mystery - Proof of Ancient Aliens
The debate has been raging about the Anunnaki - not whether they exist - nor whether they have been to Earth - as the evidence of them being here is so overwhelming. The debate is whether they are still here today. The Anunnaki had bases around the world, but primarily in the Middle East - Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Iraq - and in India and South Africa.
There is more evidence for ancient aliens than there is for Jesus.
