@PREZ-HILTON
If RM really wanted to win the presidency, he should have clearly lied about being for proxy wars for profit as Wylted most certainly did. You can't expect to win if you do not choose the correct lie.

Does this signal a move by the establishment to set up a resignation of Biden?

You can see a lot of the same evolutionary traits in many prey animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits who instinctively hide pain and injuries.
Playing dead, blending in, all part of instinctive deception genetically encoded and passed down to ensure survival and a spot in the herd.
Humans were born to lie as are most herd animals.
Created:
There will always be that human trait to rewrite science and history. It's an instinctual evolutionary response to lie, camouflage, hide pain, injuries, and disabilities in order to stay in the protective herd. Honest organisms were cast out of the herd much quicker.
It's the basis of all human deception.

To me, the origins of life are not nearly as interesting as the origins of the vast amount of energy required to exist first in order to create life.

it is possible the conservation principle still applies across the universe as we really don't know alot about black holes and very dense matter with relatively low energy in proportion to the mass constantly escaping as Hawking radiation.

Putin wasn't killing anyone in 2014. I get that you have an irrational hatred of the man, but that's a fact.
Most people had an irrational hatred for Saddam Hussein, but did that really warrant a 2 decade war promoted by Republican Bush, trillions of dollars laundered to rich people, with over one million Iraqi killed? There has to be another way!

@PREZ-HILTON
I'm just hoping people can stop hating Putin long enough to at least hear out the war torn Ukrainians that actually want peace like they had in 2014.

It is pragmatically beneficial to America
Obviously not. People in power in America are getting crazy rich off this war. It's not helping the little guy one bit. How can you not see this? Why would you support an endless war JUST like Iraq and Afghanistan? There's no moral reason for endless wars, period.

@RationalMadman
Did you even read my Orwell quote? American Republicans are using the war as a reason to convince poor Americans to become debt slaves to the big war machine, namely, Lockheed, Boeing, and Raytheon.
How could you possibly invent any twisted logic to support these crony Republicans? Wrong is wrong. We could have had peace in 2014 if Ukraine did NOT violate the Minsk treaty. Peace and prosperity for everyone. Instead it's death and servitude. Why would you support another Iraq?

Pretty sure Russia wouldn't be making 100 billion a year on oil exports alone without the inflated prices due to shortages and useless sanctions. As if Russia can't sell oil to Europe with China and others as a proxy middleman.
Russia can and does.

Sure. Support people that break peace treaties. You must like endless wars for profit, just like that despicable worm Lindsey Graham.
Please tell me you didn't support Iraq too.
You are worse than Trump for supporting that Republican snake. Go Raytheon, Go Lockheed. Support the rich. Kill the poor people.
Rah. Rah. Rah.
Didn't you watch the movie Iron Man? That was a warning, not a "how to" guide at waging war for profit.

@RationalMadman
You're obviously referring to the 2014 violation of the Minsk peace treaty by Ukraine. With Allies like those, who needs enemies?
As America looks to remilitarize both Japan and Germany, you have to wonder if America is planning for a 4th Reich. Not too far fetched since Americans are literally paying European Nazis to kill Russians right now.

Gas is often cheap during Republican Administrations because we are usually in some kind of economic crisis or recession which lowers demand.
Usually accompanied by a massive proxy war in an oil rich nation like Iraq. Sadly, Russia won't allow America to Iraq out Ukraine, hundreds of billions of dollars later.

Meanwhile, the hyper oil producing Russian people can get gasoline for mere pennies. What a global slap in the face.
Did you even know Russia increased its oil production by a few million barrels a day since 2020? How's that "living in a global bubble" working out O ostrich in the sand?

only the President is responsible for that spending?
This is where I get to say go back to grade school to look up the word "indirectly", but your low hanging fruit is too rotten to go after.
Republicans ruin the economy whenever they are in charge.
And Democrats can ruin it without a single complaint. Enjoy the 2023 recession.

Public art should be legible. A person looking at this piece cannot tell who the subjects are or what they are being honored for.
It could just as well be an abstract interpretation of people playing "Twister." It's a shame that this artist Hank Willis Thomas felt compelled to make something "conceptual" rather than making a portrait of Dr. King and his wife that the public could recognize.
The sculpture does a disservice to the Kings and to the public and is a waste of the artist's considerable talent for representational sculpting.

The President doesn’t pass government spending. The Congress does that.
Lol, someone needs to go back to grade/high school.
Signing the law is passing the law onto the books.
When a bill reaches the President, he has three choices. He can:
- Sign and pass the bill—the bill becomes a law.
- Refuse to sign, or veto, the bill—the bill is sent back to the U.S. House of Representatives, along with the President’s reasons for the veto. If the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate still believe the bill should become a law, they can hold another vote on the bill. If two-thirds of the Representatives and Senators support the bill, the President’s veto is overridden and the bill becomes a law.
- Do nothing (pocket veto)—if Congress is in session, the bill automatically becomes law after 10 days. If Congress is not in session, the bill does not become a law.

the minimum wage is still bad for the stock market.
Only over the long term. Eliminating the competition through crony regulations profits the major players of the stock market in the short term.
It also means a lot more worker competition for your job over the long term if you have a minimum wage job, which means you will probably have to work much harder to keep your job than the pay increase warrants.

Biden wasn’t in charge at the height of the pandemic; Trump was.
When I said "they" I meant the uniparty of Congressional Neocons/Neolibs that voted together for the Covid stimulus and encouraged lockdowns.
Lockdowns that absolutely gutted Middle class businesses. It had the effect of granting a huge temporary boost to the stock market under Trump as wealthy investors started gobbling up vacant market shares fueled with the freshly minted stimulus, but the supply chain mess eventually caught up.
Biden approved massive overspending.
Trump overestimated his ability to recover from the lockdowns.
Both at fault.
