The only feasible way to lessen the race problem is: eliminate affirmative action and reduce immigration.
Immigration as it stands is a problem; but it wouldn't need to be reduced if assimilation was a legal requirement for everyone, including asylum applications. Just because your country sucks shouldn't give you a right to culturally recreate your country within America's borders.

As much as the Senate race was not a referendum on inflation as many thought it would be, the House election most definitely was a referendum on the politics of Jan 6 and how the Democrats went a bit too far with the sham hearing for a bit too long.

Other takeaways for the election results, there won't be any more Jan 6 type theatrics in Congress, and I do not expect a GOP Congress to actually hold impeachment hearings with the Senate results. What this means is (thankfully) finally the wall to wall coverage of Trump will have a chance to subside enough to make room for leaders that can help the country move forward.

The GOP needs to do some serious reflection here. They are still likely to get the house. The senate is probably gone for them. Here you have a situation where voters are extraordinarily unhappy, you have a President with a low approval rating and many voters still said they could not bring themselves to vote for a GOP candidate despite all of that. Candidate quality matters. Trump vetted candidates on loyalty and not quality. Trump and his supporters will never do it but they NEED to come to a realization that he is bad for the party and bad for their electoral chances. He may energize some voters for the GOP but he energizes the Democrats just as much or more and he does not care how the party does, only himself. They run into the issue where, if he doesn't run or they beat him in a primary then he will attack the GOP nominee more than the Democrat's nominee. Now here is where I get especially confused from last night... did Roe v Wade make a difference? I think it did... but also not as much as you would think on a good Democratic night. Look at all the governors that signed restrictive abortion laws and won... Kemp, Abbot, Desantis, Dewine etc. The GOP also did better with women in the exit polls compared to last time. They also are winning the popular vote for the house (as of now) by six million, I expect that to narrow but still. Such an odd night and will take a while to fully determine what went down here.

What is hilariously ironic is that Badger uses a Mark Twain quote in defense of the virtues of appealing to authority, when on a great many occasions, Twain himself admitted he was idiotic in certain things he believed at the time. Most of his writings describe the journey he took to reverse some of his idiotic beliefs, especially regarding slavery and racism.
So the corollary to "never argue with an idiot" is also to "never prop him up as an authority on truth either."
The correct action is reformation through persuasion. But that philosophy was already in stone thousands of years before Twain.

The only form of equality we practice as a nation is equality under the law. But over the last few decades, that has been eroded to a meaningless concept as felons are released from prison based on the color of their skin under the false assumption that 12% of the population can only be considered "equal under the law" if and only if they comprise 12% of the prison population.
So we have gone from a nation that enshrines laws that protect skin color above and beyond the protection of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It's as if the radical left has branded the entire foundation of the constitution as a racist document. The social contract is in tatters.

Let's talk about these mythical constructs.
Everyone's opportunities in life is a set finite number based solely on chance. Even if you were to engineer the perfect society with cloned people and "equal opportunity" policies, the world simply won't allow absolutely equal opportunities due to the natural laws of entropy.
Knowing that everyone will always be a victim to chance regardless of the society you construct, there is no actual "fairness"
Add on to the fact that people will often choose to remove opportunities by making bad lifestyle choices, the fiction of equal opportunity further dissipates as you would also have to remove free will to attempt to make that happen.
So don't sell me on your mythology when people in the real world struggle to come to grips that life isn't actually fair, you make the best of it, and learn to be grateful for anything you manage to accomplish in this wasteland of a universe. The mythology crap about fairness and equal opportunity is the worst drug out there out of all the opiates available should you choose that route.

You have to go pretty far back like the OP went to find examples; whereas you can find plenty of 2022 examples of "whitemanbads" that are not largely coming from the Right. Curious why you move schools that often. Need quite a few years to vest in for pension benefits and get tenure.
First off, I have my own retirement that's far and away better than the district government pension because I'm a fkn awesome investor. Secondly, administrations change and the environment changes too (think Covid)... and If I have the luxury of being free to work where I want, I will exercise that freedom. I'm damn happy at my job and have been for 10 years doing everything from in-home tutoring to specialized care for disabled kids in and out of a classroom setting, coordinated zoom sessions during Covid, individual prep work for SAT and GED, to even doing a year of regular teaching for a Geometry class. Worked at Mathnasium for a year to get the experience of abstract math teaching. I even did a year of full education for a 16 year old that was on home arrest with an ankle bracelet awaiting trial for murder. I like to change it up every now and then to challenge myself or I will get bored.
Also, I am union free as well since the state recently allowed right to work, so I can do a lot of things most teachers cannot do like negotiate conditions under the table with the out-of-district coordinator and the vice principal of the high school off-contract.
And yeah, it does help that I am also damn good at my job. This year I was able to get my one-on-one disabled student ahead of task within the span of ONE MONTH when every other teacher that had him the previous 2 years couldn't get him to pass his core History or English. (He is taking 9th grade courses this year as a Junior.) Just this last week, I was bored off my ass since he had nothing to work on since the behavior correction regimen I created for him in collaboration with his support team got him to submit even his long English projects due weeks in advance within a matter of days...
If you see me posting during school hours, it's because I'm bored AF.

A part of the reason why I moved from a mostly all black city to one with 5% blacks is because I couldn't get a job teaching due to the color of my skin there. I would go to the interviews and they would take one look at me and say "thanks but no thanks." I even got the boot from TFA. The administration believed only same skin colors could work in education...smh...whatevs, I'll just go where I am wanted for double the pay and the folks back in New Orleans can endlessly complain that they cant find any good teachers on the basis of merit.
I've worked for 4 different schools up here in the past 10 years and never failed to land those jobs on the 1st interview.... Definitely wasn't a "me" problem.
