A viral video claiming Border patrol "whipping" illegal invaders caused Psaki and Biden to issue many apologies.
The sad thing is that it is fake news as the Patrol whipped nobody and they regularly twirl their reins to keep invaders from grabbing their Horses or approaching them.

The amount of gaslighting and the Mandela effect on the left is astounding.
Most people on the left believe all sorts of misinformation and lies such as:
1) Thousands of unarmed blacks are killed by the police every year.
2) Thousands of children die from Covid-19 every year.
3) Only a few thousand enter the country illegally and almost all by airports.
4) Antifa is mostly peaceful or a myth
5) Dozens of police were killed on Jan 6 by radical facists.
6) Trump's agreement 6 months ago forced Biden to give up airbases so we couldn't get the Americans out.
and on and on. If it's a story from the media, there is gaslight all around it spreading misinformation to every Democrat in America.

Because fat people get sick a LOT more than a skinny person which then leads to increased costs for all the healthcare across the nation required to keep them alive.
If you cared about lowering how much we spend as a nation on healthcare, you could attack the source of the costs. Healthy people don't need nearly as much healthcare.

Doctor shortages are an actual and persistent thing in centrally planned economy systems. How are you 100% sure that you have a plan to avoid doctor shortages that will most certainly lead to more dead people?
If you mess up and set salaries too low, people will look for better opportunities. I assure you, the people who are smart enough and dedicated enough to go through the training to be a Doctor will also have the ability during their formative years to choose a better return on their time and schooling investment by choosing a more profitable career.
If you let the free market set the Doctor salaries, you ensure a steady supply of quality Doctors assuming there are no artificial barriers to becoming a Doctor such as licensing quotas.

The American ideal that every service should be provided by private industries is the root of your healthcare problems.
It's not. There is massive corruption because a massive amount of the voter base pays no Federal taxes, therefore they have no incentive to elect people that will spend taxes without corruption. It's not just our healthcare that's broken due to corrupt crony regulations that keep our nation in a perpetual state of crony capitalism ruled by an elite class of oligarchal monopolies and lobbyists. Every industry is affected both public and private.
And I gotta ask, by "holding the poor accountable", do you mean shooting and imprisoning them?
No. Tax them at a fair rate like every other responsible nation.
Police officials are by law protected from accountability, even in cases where its blatantly obvious that they acted horribly.
A perfect example why the government should release it's current stranglehold on the healthcare private market and absolutely give up on the pipedream that they could magically manage healthcare better than they managed the police and schools as they have shown they can't even run either the police or schools without blatant incompetence and massive corruption.

Imagine if a mob of men waited outside in a supermarket lot and one simply grabbed your cart of groceries that you paid for and left with them every time you went to get food for your family. Imagine that you would go to jail if you tried to stop him because he had a right to your food. That's essentially what you are advocating for here.

Correct. In fact, we are one of the only countries that holds our "poor" near completely unaccountable for their lifestyle choices. Most other nations tax their poor so that they pay their fair share and are encouraged and incentivized to participate in society responsibly and to conform to basic cultural standards. Especially the Nordic nations.
