Okay, name me one president that has NEVER asked a non-American what they thought of his political rival. I'll wait.

@HistoryBuff
absolutely. she is a right wing neo-lib who plays games with the lives of the american people. She should be held accountable for that.
Yeah, guess it's Pelosi's fault then for the fuckup.

A president abusing the power of his office to subvert the democratic process (in this case by slandering his rival).
How can I possibly take you seriously when you post this kind of nonsense?
Name me one president that has never said a bad thing about his rival. I'll wait.
Blocking congress from doing that is an impeachable offense.
Exactly how did Trump BLOCK Congress from impeaching him?

Unless you're saying we can't know for sure what he wanted because he's a pathological liar.
Nah, it's more likely he is just an idiot that didn't know there are Muslims in Indonesia that are not a threat to America.
But still, the uncertainty makes for hilarious satirical Corrupt-A-Chirons on MSM infotainment shows.
At least a few of them should have made you smirk.

Do you think Pelosi should be held accountable for losing house seats despite a Biden victory?
Who gets the blame for this fuckup? It certainly aint the Orangeman's fault.

@HistoryBuff
Abuse of power and obstruction of congress are some of the most serious crimes a sitting president can commit.
You truly can't believe this. I can think of hundreds of actual criminal actions that are more devastating to the country than these 2 things.
Obstruction of Congress is part of the congressional duty of a sitting President. if a president does not obstruct Congress, then there is no need for a president. We can just have a Congress with no president to interfere with Congressional authority. It's not a crime. It's called the constitutional balance of power.
Abuse of Power isn't a crime. It is used to describe a specific criminal behavior of which none were actually named in the impeachment. It's like going before a judge and having the judge say you are guilty of the crime of being a criminal. It's utter nonsense. What would have been legitimate would be a charge of Abuse of Power through the Bribing of a foreign official. That would have been an actual crime. But it's too late (or early depending on your agenda) to rewrite history.
And the voters showed it at the polls when they voted out a good number of those fools abusing their Congressional powers to remove Orangeman for the fabricated crime of "being bad."
no, they did exactly what the founding fathers wanted them to do in such a scenario.
Yes, the voters held the House accountable for bad behavior.

@HistoryBuff
Just remember... a good portion of Biden voters voted out the people that spent your tax dollars indicting a sitting president for non-crimes.
Call then whatever names you want, it happened.
The penalty for Abuse of Congressional Powers is a loss of Democrat House seats.
It's now a matter of history.

but that's what he WANTED to do...
Ehhh... 4 years of MSM doing the Kathy Newman routine on Trump makes it really hard to know for sure what Trump wanted.
But looking back, some of the "corrupt-o-chirons" from the MSM were actually pretty funny if you didn't buy into the gaslighting.
For example: Reporting with a straight face that the president instructed America to drink bleach is top-tier comedy satire.

trump was impeached.
And Dems lost a bunch of House seats over that authoritarian bullshit.
Good job Pelosi.

@Imabench
That's really difficult to do though and will only continue to become more difficult to do since the Dem party is likely going to drift more to the left in subsequent elections.
Do you see a scenario where the Dems purge the extreme socialists out of the party? What would that look like?
Can they do it without losing too much relative support?

I've seen enough resistance to paid propaganda to know it will affect future elections to some degree.

trickle down economics have been used for decades and the working class is worse off now than it has been for decades.
That's objectively not true. Far more presidents have used Keynesian trickle up policies lately, most notably during Obama's term, with little effect. 22 Trillion dollars spent on trickle-up policies with no noticeable effect on the poverty level.
All 3 of those things I mentioned didn't do so well under Obama Keynesian policies. Maybe it's time to try something else?
Maybe try something less Keynesian that does not encourage this???
This chart shows a substantial proportion of Americans are not following the 3 Brookings rules to reach the middle class.
1) at least finish high school
2) get a full-time job
3) wait until age 21 to get married and have children.
Perhaps we should implement a policy less Keynesian such as this proposal:
A more effective economic policy would aim at restoring the long-term growth rate by reducing uncertainty and restoring investor and consumer confidence.
Here are four proposals to help get us there:
First, Congress and the administration should agree on a 10-year program of government spending cuts to reduce the deficit. Permanent tax reduction can only be achieved by reducing government spending.
Second, reduce corporate tax rates and expense capital investment by closing loopholes.
Third, announce a five-year moratorium on new regulations.
Fourth, adopt an enforceable 0%-2% inflation target to allay fears of future high inflation.
that would achieve the desired outcome of
1) OPPORTUNITES
2) COMPETITION
3) JOBS
Wages can't rise if the supply of jobs shrinks in relation to the labor pool.
101 supply and demand economics.

They just keep going back to cut regulation and cut taxes over and over despite trickle down economics being a failure.
As opposed to destroying competition, jobs, and opportunity. If you can't deliver those 3 things, nobody is going to give a crap what your Keynesian economic philosophy is.

Taking this long to count votes is completely unacceptable and cannot be allowed to happen again. All states need to take a lesson from Florida
Do you think it will be a campaign point in 2 years for the Congress?
Promising election reforms to legitimize the process?

there's always a loophole somewhere for every situation.
If this wasn't true, politicians would never be able to get money from the rich for elections.
no one respectable...
None of those elite rich news anchors has done a goddamn thing to earn your respect.
They sure as hell don't care about your broke ass, or mine for that matter. When is the last tuxedo party you went to with those fuckers? How was the champagne-sipping while you joked about the stupid poor peons paying you 50,000 dollars a show?

Don't you need your cases to be thrown out of lower courts before the Supreme Court is able to look at it?

Honestly, the probable best move town can make at the end of this DP is to vtnl and let luna kill.
if that's possible? Does mafia killing you stop the vig? Can you do it more than 1x?

For not bringing what up? I don't follow.
Nevermind, Luna said scum team didn't know, but it's still suspicious that Luna had to point that out and not speed considering speed knew luna was a judas last game.

its very likely scum team knew who pie was as in the last game...and speed knows this since speed was scum which makes speed absolutely sus for not bringing this up.

All shenanigans aside, we have a carbon copy of last game when Luna was pie's role. We know scum was pushing for a luna lynch that game, so lets see who really wanted pie lynched as a clue to get scum (besides luna of course)

Covid didn't make any one of those multi-millionaire media anchors panic. It was life as usual for every single one of them. Lockdowns didn't cause them to panic either. Didn't affect their world. Russia didn't cause a single anchor to panic and make a single lifestyle change. Not a one.
Riots? don't make me laugh. Every one of them has private security and gated homes.
Tucker can talk up a good game about being worried, but in the end, he gets to go home to the same life as usual. Nothing to worry about.
There was one and only one thing that genuinely made them ALL panic.
Created:

@Danielle
"Lemming" indeed.
I'm genuinely surprised how flippantly accepting you are to believe some media anchors making millions a year to have the capacity to care about what matters to you as an individual. Do you even have any idea what their world is like?

@Danielle
Those reporters have no more bias than some rando on YouTube with a cell phone camera doing "citizen journalism."
I'm not so sure. Some of those reporters are paid 50,000 dollars a show. It's really hard to believe they are being honest when so much money is on the line.
When you are that replaceable, who can afford to be honest and unbiased?

Even Fox News.
I thought you shared my opinion that all corporate media run by authority isn't trustworthy.
Also, I don't know what your statement means re: Congressional election results.
Because personally, I don't give a fuck about what puppet faceman is in the Whitehouse. The office has been nothing but a PR faceman for Congress since JFK was killed off.
Congress is far more powerful in setting policies that affect my day to day life than any president.
The only reason I supported Trump was so that Congress could stop hiding from the public. In that sense, I am very happy to note that Congressional leaders have been forced to spend much more time in front of a camera answering questions than any other time in my life.
Congressional elections really hurt both parties that were in power. Dems lost house seats and Reps lost a Senate seat... and that means the people don't trust authority.
That's a great thing.

then find a solution as leadership is supposed to do,
Maybe this is part of the reason why the Congressional election results shifted away from the people in power.
Created:

it will somehow, some day, trickle down to other people.
just the people that follow the 3 Brookings rules. The other people have chosen poorly.

Where did I ever say no one should be able to challenge the authority of US elections? What does that even mean?
Like should there be a time limit to accepting votes? Should ballots accepted months after Nov 3?
