1) Taxation is authoritarian.
2) Price fixing drugs is authoritarian.
3) Destroying existing energy industries while subsidizing other energy industries is authoritarian.
4) Forgiving student debt while not compensating students that worked and saved money for school is authoritarian (and unfair to boot)
5) Price fixing real estate is authoritarian.
6) Declaring healthcare as a "human right" is most definitely authoritarian to anyone working in the health care industry.
And on and on, everything Sanders wants to fundamentally change in this country requires the force of an authoritative government backed with Federal guns. In essence, using the government to help some people by restricting the freedoms of others. That's pure authoritarianism when your policies take away or restrict freedoms of American citizens, not the Orangemanbad drivel definition the left embraces.
Sanders is all about empowering the authority of the government, not the people.

Comparing America's Overton window with western countries is a classic apples/oranges fallacy.
Bernie is hardcore authoritarian left, no excuses.
Interestingly, Bernie only supports and praises western Nations with economic opportunities and free capitalistic markets as center-right Denmark has (less authoritarian regulations on businesses) while at the same time promising crippling regulations on all job creators (like Cuba and Venezuela have).

no. the polling said she would win the popular vote. Which she did, by millions of votes. However she ran a bad campaign and ignored important states and working people. that is not a mistake Bernie would make.
Hillary's polling showed she would win the swing states. Winning a supermajority of the popular vote in the Coastal states won't elect any president.

In fact, I presented 2 hypotheticals calculating how much heat we would need to melt the ice sheets, and Oromagi presented one hypothetical about melting the ice sheets.
Oro claimed hypothetically if he could take all the sun's rays striking the outer atmosphere of the planet and focus it on an area about 3% of the Earth's Surface, with zero loss of heat due to refraction or reflection or rotational tilt of the Earth, it would take about 40 days to melt the ice sheets.
Mathematically, he was correct.
Out of those 3 hypotheticals, if you still can't understand the magnitude of the latent thermal energy in the ice sheets, I don't know what other examples could help.

What is so crazy is that the government is asking CLIMATE SCIENTISTS to evaluate impacts on areas of ECONOMY. The result is such a hodge-podge of unmitigated biased garbage that you can't understand the actual risk to you personally.

Basic psychology suggests most of the science is flawed with an apparent financial bias from government-funded scientists.
The politicians promoting climate alarmism clearly do not personally believe in said alarmism as evident by their personal lifestyles and failure to personally protect themselves and their families from the so-called, world-ending catastrophes. Even if the politicians failed to have a personal concern, you would surely expect an intelligent, rational scientist to look after his own skin.
When these alarmist scientists and politicians stop jet setting across the country from posh fundraisers to their oversized beachfront properties and start hoarding supplies in their personal safety bunkers, that will be the point at which I MIGHT give alarmism some credibility.
So far, not one scientist is willing to go the NOAA's Ark route. If they are not concerned, why should I be?
Knowing human nature and how self-serving politicians behave, the public would likely never know of any real, credible threat to the planet as the elites secure vital resources for survival in absolute secrecy and a media blackout.
