Ugh, why didn't he just stick to his other reasons for the withdrawal? They were contendable. This was such a stupid thing to say. His attitude should be "I sympathize but this was necessary," not "who cares, you're people of low character anyway." Especially when those people have just done us a solid.

If he didn’t get troops out, he loses Turkey. If he does he loses the Kurds. Guarantee you that’s what the call between Erdogan and Trump was about. What would you do in this situation if you were Trump? Lose Turkey and lose American lives, or withdraw?
Absolutely the wrong move is to go to war with Turkey. I suspect these sanctions are a screen and Trump has already had a secret meeting with Erdogan to take over the ISIS prisoners since the EU gave him the middle finger. The sanctions are likely a paper tiger. Nobody is going to be saying a damn thing in 2 months about this.

Almost all of the Trump supporters I have talked to have gone through a "Holy Shit" moment, where they take a look at the policies and see the results and they realize the country is better off. They go from "Trump is a joke" to "Holy shit, he is actually making America a better place to live in."
Trump went from being the middle finger joke vote to the non-responsive establishment and do-nothing Congress to an insanely unlikely President that kept his promises and delivered results from his policies. More jobs. Less government red tape bullshit. More GDP. Less illegal border crossings. Better trade deals. Less taxes. More prison reform for people in a bloated prison system. Less troops in pointless proxy wars.
I really don't care who is in the Whitehouse. You deliver even half of that, you got my vote. Hell, I would even turn a blind eye to a few million skimmed off with nepotism or crony speeches. The country is worth trillions more if you can make it a better place for the general public.

That isn't true. Obama had yearly deportation numbers much much higher than Trump, which means of the ones we KNOW about, much more illegals were slipping over the border than the ones we know about under Trump.
That means if we go with the numbers of illegals that we know about (the ones we can catch) there are way fewer actual border crossings under Trump than Obama. That's a good thing for the country regardless of who is in the Whitehouse. If it's because of strong rhetoric from the Executive branch, strong aid from Mexican forces, or an intimidating wall, I don't give a flying fuck. The end result is that the country is better off.
